Americans need to take notes also. The ego of these car owners over here ruins every event. The language used is disrespectful. The hot heads always cause trouble.

As an American, I love Japan 🗾! So clean, car culture is on another level, looks like the people are respectful for others and their country.. I really would love to move there 🔥👍🏻👍🏻
What I think is beautiful about this is it’s the current generation of car enthusiasts paying respect for the previous generation and their respective “style” something that is hardly seen here in the states.
Thanks Larry and team. You guys made this channel carrying a new dimension to "not just another automotive review channel". (It's like Anthony Bourdain to the food scene with a hint of national geographic.) Keep it up! Kudos!
Yeah, how is this not a show on Motortrend or something? I wish tv cable networks and streaming services that are serious about car focused material, would look at this channel, or syndicate it. We don’t need another hour long show where a bunch of rednecks fake work on a car, and most of the build is them adding so much drama and unprofessionalism that you would never hire them to touch your car.
Shout out to my Boy Italian_in_Japan and his Crew from RPM Generation seen at 4:29 these guys are showing you the Japanese Car Culture everyday on every social platforms. And as usual supurb work from Larry and Hagerty !! Much love you Guys are the Best!!!

Tokyo underground meets have been a thing for longer than just 2023 Larry 😂. The game was changed in 2017 by the first Tokyo Auto Salon underground meet in Odaiba aqua city.
I respect any car culture. The Bosozoku style is out way out there & then comes the Lincoln pimpmobile that's the biggest land barge before he got his hands on it, just absolutely amazing!
@nzsaltflatsracer8054 You wouldn't knowingly call other car related things by the wrong name so why start now? I don't get it. It's just like using the wrong term for anything else.
Man compare this to the horrible car meets we have here in SoCal where everyone either revs, does a burnout or donut drawing attention to where cops come and shut it down. Especially in underground or roof parking lots. The closed off areas allow the exhaust sound to be amplified where someone in a BMW, Infiniti G37, Mustang, Challenger, Charger ruins the meet.
@@ShaqBryant Oh for sure. Same with us Z guys. But I just read this thing on my news feed of a girl who got hit in a takeover while taking a selfie because a red G37 lost control doing donuts here in LA. And she most likely didn't make it. And a lot of clapped out G's and Z's always go to those takeovers. Same with Mustangs, Chargers, Challengers, and trucks.
I just love the Japanese, when they get into something they go full throttle all in, no f...king around, they love, appreciate and respect whatever culture they adapt as much as if it's their own, they'll research the history down to the most minute fact and their creativity is always executed beyond the highest perfection possible 🔥
Around the end of the COVID mess, Boston area had a couple of these word of mouth events down at ink block with shockingly similar levels of attendee builds with one easily at a thousand cars which were pushed out to the marina area since the parking areas under the interstate can't hope to house that (to the chagrin of all law enforcement in a 5mi area). New England isn't exactly the place one would expect to see such quality of cars given the roads and winter; but there is a sea of photogenic and extremely capable hardware out here if you get bored on the Pacific rim :).
Is there any possibility to get to car meets like this (or like in the first part) as a tourist? How to get informations about these meets? I`d love to get there, when i visit Tokyo!
Japanese men like cars, motorcycles, and women. Many Japanese men were driving their cars with foreign women sitting next to them. Apparently it's popular in Japan to pick up foreign women and drive them to a hotel. very cool
Awesome video! I'd love to go to one of these events. I'm about 1 hour from Umihotaru on the Chiba side. How can I get info on these events? I guess that is why it is "underground..."
Japanese Car Meet: Get permits; JDM, European, Kaido racers all show up and are respectful to one another American Car Meet: Let's take over an intersection, do uncontrolled donuts in our POS G35s and used muscle cars until they catch on fire
The level of respect all the attendees show is brilliant and pure class. No sillyness. Just appreciation of fantastic machines. Take note the UK.
I've always said the western car culture could learn a thing or two from the Japanese cars meets.

Hagerty is now the Official Face of Car Culture. Best/Option/TAS/Drift. It's all here!
Only Bosozoku looks both ridiculous and bad ass at the same time.
Especially if they rock the 787B livery 🤣

Japan is amazing. American's could learn a lot from their culture.

The Song is Toasted by Dylan Sitts
Japanese car culture is definitely one of the best itw 🔥🔥 so many badass cars

Awesome cars, but nothing beats a 660cc kei car I saw once drifting wildly in a snowy mountain road
Music was on point, directly correlated to the action and the cars. Very nice.
Awesome stuff this, wish I could see this, was there a week back in Tokyo. Keep it up guys
I think I spotted Dustin’s Evo when they left the underground meet.
This is an excellent and very enjoyable video. Yes, it is about cars, but the car reflects the owner's passion for the machine.

Anyone know what happened to this kid ALBO from drift hunters and his channel?

The ds cameras give an old 80s/90s aesthetic bcs of the poorer quality, works surprisingly well paired with older things etc
