Great review Michele. You look beautiful!
I'm interested in buying it in that color. I have medium alopecia and wondering if I need to wear a hair cap underneath. California is very hot in the summer. Thank you so much for sharing your experience and tips. Greetings from Sacramento

    • @micheleswigreviews

Thanks so much, Fernanda!😊 I don't normally wear anything under my wigs. Some wig wearers feel that they need additional security for their wigs. There are several ways you can secure your wig. I normally only tighten or loosen the adjusters on the wig and I’m good to go. If that's not enough to secure your wig, you can try a wig grip, bobby pins, and/or some wig adhesive (be sure to research how to use these properly). You can also sew combs or clips to the inside of the wig cap (be sure they are not pulling on your hair). I recently purchased the Milano Lace Top Grip (this is a wig and topper grip) that I like to use for times when I need a bit of extra security. I plan to do a review soon showing how to use this grip with a topper. Hope this helps! 👋💖

Portrait Mode does come in some unrooted blonde colors, including Pale Golden Honey, Golden Pecan, Pale Golden Wheat, Honey Ginger, Biscuit, and Iced Sweet Cream. Hope this helps.💖

what is the heat setting for this wig? It is so pretty, and it is actually the color of my own hair. I washed it and conditioned it. As soon as it dries, I will give it some light long layers as I need more movement. I lost over 50% of my hair and had to finally cut it all off in July and now I am in the phase of growing it out. Horrible look, lol. This may be a life saver!

    • @micheleswigreviews
      @micheleswigreviews  27 дней назад +1

Raquel Welch recommends a maximum of 350℉ on their Tru2Life heat friendly synthetic fibers. You need to use either water or a heat-protectant (formulated for HF synthetic fibers) on the fibers before applying heat. Happy styling - I hope you love the results!💖

  • @mammimammi3782

Hi Michele, I am interested in getting the tape you use. I looked it up on amazon but there are some as low as $13 (other brands) up to $25. I'd like to try it but not spend so much. Any suggestions? Thank you xo

Get your fingers in there and get those fibers off the cap!!
It’s looks so flat and much less density that it actually is.
Every reviewer smashes it down and mis represents this wig. I would not have purchased this one at such a high cost had I not seen Taz demonstrating this.
Not trying to be critical or mean
    just a suggestion🫶

    • @micheleswigreviews

Thanks for your comment! You are certainly entitled to your opinion. The amount of volume in someone's hair or wig is very much a question of personal preference. I completely support anyone's desire for volume in their hair and encourage them to do what they like to create that volume. I have an oval face and find that too much volume in my wigs swallows my face up and looks very unnatural. I think there is plenty of room in the wig world for both preferences.✌❤

@@micheleswigreviews Hi Michelle, thx for your response, I re read what I wrote just now and realized it looks like I’m criticizing your reviews. My apologies. I actually think you have very good filming and lighting, and you have a lovely way about you, I’m glad to have more people to check out various styles that maybe some others are not talking about.
Please let me clarify my previous comment
I find that when you can cover more options on a particular wig, you can reach more people who might be curious as to what the possibilities are to customize it to their liking. So your personal preference is to wear this piece in a more sleek way which is suited to you , but I would like to know if the only way these fibers lay is flat or is there some support from the small amount of perma tease to raise the fibers of the cap to create movement and bounce (not high helmet hair at all).
I’ve been a stylist for yrs, and when women come to me to get a wash and blo dry, they like to feel like they have that fresh bouncy feeling... and they are paying 50-75$ to get that feeling, otherwise they can just do it at home.
So this is why I like to see just a moment of body before flattening it. This wig is almost 400.00!!
So people need to know if it will work for them because sending them back is costly and we can’t all buy many different styles.
I believe this one will be good for both , the ladies who want a flatter look, but also those who desire some movement and just a bit more volume that their own hair is capable of achieving.
I for one, love putting on a wig that looks better than my own hair, and having a great hair day, everyday!
Saving all the salon costs too👐
And yes, isn’t it great that there is something for every taste🥰
      Blessings xoxo🕊
