I found the airpods in lost mode, connected them and the message that they were lost appeared, then I did a factory reset on them and they were already connected to my icloud. Now can the previous owner see their last location before the factory reset
I got some used ones from a coworker and now im wondering if he can track me?
SO in theory lets say i stole someones airpods and held the airpods case button for 15 seconds they would not be able to track it

No, I found a set of AirPods and the earbud part still gets tracked, I can’t find a tutorial to help with that. I think you’d need apple support
