I have only ever met Ras Kass once. I was with my Cousin Frank Nitty and we were going up to Priority Records so that I could get some Promo Materials for Bad Azz single "Murderous M.C.'s" (which most people have never heard of sadly) because I was doing Promo for the upcoming Bad Azz "Personal Business" album (also the Snoop Dogg "Last Meal" album, so hey Snoop where is my Plaque?)...Ras Kass was coming out of the building and him and my Cousin Frank Nitty see one another and start talking and Nitty say's "this is my cousin from the Bay Area", and Ras Kass asks "oh do you rap?". I was like yeah but I am more so into the Marketing and Promotions. Then he randomly says "I am down with Digital Underground". That was always so odd to me. I get it that he said it because I am from the Bay Area and Digital Underground is from the Bay Area but that was an odd conversation continuation. After that we just dipped into the building and went and got as much Bad Azz "Murderous M.C.'s" promo as possible to try and get the ball rolling on that Bad Azz "Personal Business" album of which "Murderous M.C.'s" was not even a part of after all of the test marketing of which the song did very well. #RIPBadAzz

This is what it is. This nigga is so good lyrically, he's annoying. Lol and that's a compliment. All the emcees hated to see him coming. I been seeing this guy's climb and fall since he was a dancer named Raisin. They did the same thing to my homey Brandon "Sweet Poppa Chicken" Bell who danced on Soul Train. Brandon was so fuckin' good on that dance floor everyone including the top paid dancers at the time like The Mop Tops, Soul Brothers etcetera kind of hated to see him coming cause he'd take a lot of their normal shine away! Respect to this dude Ras cause I was there. He even did a song with my crew member Boi Wundah "Funkytown Pros/Cali's Finest" who recently passed away July 2, 2022. Salute!
