I'm Pac's age. Back then many cats including myself thought Rass Kass and Xzibit were anti 2Pac. I'm glad he is setting the record straight. Much love.
Ras Kass was a REAL lyricist....Pac was a fuckin comic book rapper...all image and gimmicks
Hip Hop is one big ass comic book

Man all i have to say… thanks for letting him talk! These new dudes always interrupt and we miss what needs to be heard!
Exactly. Vlad is definitely guilty of that. He always has to out talk and over talk the guests and usually be right when they're about to drop some real gems
Ras Kass really had love for Pac
@@jalenaverylloydaveryiisson8862 Naaaaah... Pac was a big name on the West Coast. Technically, a shot caller. Not just some random rapper with local street credibility. You doing records with any of his enemies or associating with them he's gonna have something to say about it. Ask Snoop and The Fugees.
Most importantly he had love for himself.

@@sixers0126 Well he was running with Jam Master Jay in 96. So it's possible he was around but not popping. That's his journey. He didn't need to
This was a real good interview right here
I wonder how many people knew that fuck Jay-Z in the beginning on either was actually pac
I thought everybody knew that. Those Makaveli bootlegs were floating around with "F friends" on it. Also Pac said "Bling Bling" on that same song but since it was unreleased Wayne took it & ran. Same with Jay z with Pacs "Late night" "half black & Filipino"

I have only ever met Ras Kass once. I was with my Cousin Frank Nitty and we were going up to Priority Records so that I could get some Promo Materials for Bad Azz single "Murderous M.C.'s" (which most people have never heard of sadly) because I was doing Promo for the upcoming Bad Azz "Personal Business" album (also the Snoop Dogg "Last Meal" album, so hey Snoop where is my Plaque?)...Ras Kass was coming out of the building and him and my Cousin Frank Nitty see one another and start talking and Nitty say's "this is my cousin from the Bay Area", and Ras Kass asks "oh do you rap?". I was like yeah but I am more so into the Marketing and Promotions. Then he randomly says "I am down with Digital Underground". That was always so odd to me. I get it that he said it because I am from the Bay Area and Digital Underground is from the Bay Area but that was an odd conversation continuation. After that we just dipped into the building and went and got as much Bad Azz "Murderous M.C.'s" promo as possible to try and get the ball rolling on that Bad Azz "Personal Business" album of which "Murderous M.C.'s" was not even a part of after all of the test marketing of which the song did very well. #RIPBadAzz
