That person owns the rights to it. Ras BOUGHT the beat and then Alchemist sold it again. 😂 why is that so hard to understand? He didn’t give it to him fir free, he purchased it.
Dilla sold the same beats to some people too it's usually a pack of beats not just one beat.

The beat in question which Ras Kass bought ended up becoming "We Gonna Make It" by Jadakiss, which was released in 2001.
Before that, Al was mostly working with Defari, Dilated Peoples, Eastern Conference Records, etc.
Nas doesn't use Alchemist as a producer until God's Son in 2002.
