    Ingredients: 20-22 macarons
    3/4 cup almond flour
    1 cup powdered sugar
    2 egg whites (extra large egg)
    1/8 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
    1/4 cup sugar
    Filling:
    1/4 cup (4 Tbsp) unsalted butter (room temp)
    1/2 powdered sugar
    a pinch of salt

    This is the only way to make macarons that has worked without fail for me. Just a heads up, if you use silicon mats for anything other than cookies or sweets, it picks up the flavor of what you made. My previous batch tasted like chicken seasoning because of the mats. So you can always use parchment paper. 11/10 recipe I really recommend this!!!

      Is you're using parchment paper, how big should the macarons be, and how far apart?

      @@olivercane4018 you can print out a macoron template then place the parchment paper over that in a cookie sheet

    I made these yesterday with this exact recipe and they turned out so delicious!! Thank you for your amazing instructions! All the other recipes i’ve seen make this process seem very difficult and made me feel so discouraged. This recipe however turned out perfect!

    Hi! i followed this recepe exactly...but it seems like when i got to the maconrage part, my batter was grainy and thick...? could the egg whites not have been whipped enough..?
    Edit: Hello, husband here. Turns out my wife needs some help with measuring because she used 1 3/4 cups of flour, instead of 3/4 cup. Me editing this is part of her learning experience. Thank you.

      Hi, if you added more flour than you need, you will have to redo the recipe or increase all the ingredients.

    I made these and this is the perfect recipe you're amazing. I tried macarons so many times but they were never perfect these in the other hand are perfect and btw can you tell how to reduce the amount of sweetness in the cookies?

      Hi, if you want your macarons to be less sweet, try other fillings, such as lemon buttercream or lemon curd.

    I am sooo happy to find your channel. My macarons are a disaster. Your explanation seems so easy, thanks a lot. After piping the macarons, do they go straight in the oven?

      No, you need to let them rest until you can touch them. That's about 30 minutes - 1hour.

    I tried this but it sadly never formed together when i baked it and stayed liquid . I do not know what i did wrong :(
    Update: 9 months later i tried again and it worked! My error was not whipping the egg whites enough

    How many eggs whites would I add if they’re regular sized eggs?? In the video you say Extra Large Eggs

    So i’m seeing everywhere that i’m supposed to leave my cookies for about a day to two days to let the cream and cookie blend a bit, should i let my cookies sit in the fridge or.. how should i keep them so they don’t go stale while they wait?

      You can fill the macarons with the filling immediately, you don't need to wait one or two days. :)

      Hi, maybe the batter is overmixed, the meringue is not beaten enough, or the temperature in the oven is high.

    Can no almond flour macarons be baked in a microwave oven/small oven? Also it doesn't have fans and when i made it last time they didn't have feet and turned out like chewy cookies not macarons hope it works this time

      Yes I think but use a small oven without fans microve oven or oven toaster will have a higher chance of failing, it's only my opinion don't really know if it's true

      You probably didn't beat the egg whites enough, or your bowl or whisk may have been oily.

      Icing sugar or you can make powdered sugar at home from sugar and cornstarch.

    Not sure what I did wrong but I followed this recipe to the T and they came out like cookies. The consistency it seems like you had more ingredients than what was mentioned… ugh I’m bummed

      No need to boil egg whites ... you need to melt sugar.
