There are plenty of covers here on YT of the classic song (mainly due to Stranger Things), but yours is by far one of the most unique. I've never heard before such strong acapella singing from just two people layered.

I'm Gen-Z but I loved this movie. I also love Stranger Things and when it was it ST3 I exploded. I also read the book and now I wish Atreyu had green skin and blue hair in the movie and that Artax talked.
I'm a Millenial, and same! I love the book and the movie! I know Neverending Story 2 was very loosely based on the last half of the book...I wish there was a version a little more tightly coupled with that narrative. It gets soooo weird when Bastian gets into the book! Unfortunately I had that moment in Stranger Things spoiled for me (because, duh!), but I'm looking forward to seeing it when I get there! I'm only two episodes away. :)

Very true...this wasn't necessarily a "spot-on" cover, but more of 3-line harmony thing with vocal drums, vocal arpeggios, and vocal instrumental solos - not as direct of a cover as some of my other tunes (like Radiohead's "Morning Bell"). That eight note bass line would be a cool thing to hear. :)
