    I ordered this beauty on September 2022, I Got it on February 8, 2023, with some extra features, I finished the papers for $91,000. I drove it 5 miles (Five), and it's in the dealer since last night, 9 features require sensors are not working now, I am not happy. Made in America.

    I have a 2024 TRD Pro and woke up this morning and it was completely dead. Zero pre warning and absolutely nothing left on. This is the second time it has been dead. First time the dealer was installing accessories (window tint) and somehow jumped it wrong and blew the fuse. But it went dead and now it happens to me, just completely dead. I jumped it and drove to the dealer with all the warning lights on. 2k miles on it, giving me real heart ache and a lack of confidence.
    Any suggestions???

    I have my 2023 TRD pro Tundra on the dealership right now for the 2nd time because it has drained my battery completely . The first time, they just replaced the battery. Now I'm waiting to see what they're going to tell me.

    If you tinted the windshield, they got the relay wet. Let it dry out for three days, charge up your battery and send the bill to your dealership for being stupid

      Hey I’m not sure if I have the same case. I could really use your help.
      Picked up the truck with 5600 miles on it next day I had it tinted fully including windshield. Next morning car dosent start same issues your having all lights on dash. Gas cap was surprisingly open as well and open the gas lid which was full of air. Towed to dealer. They can’t find issue. It’s been 2 days.

    • @rant-n-rave7816
      @rant-n-rave7816  5 месяцев назад

      Read other fix. Just let it dry out, it’ll fix itself once it’s dry. Only a few really good tint shops know where to take out the relay prior to tinting. Most tint shops are minimum wage workers who don’t give a shit.@@Janani.213

      Yes, I agree the cost sucks but it will change your truck, trust me, it will be worth it! Sell your old tires to offset the cost, there are plenty of people out there who want them. The new shoes will make the truck drive better on and off road. Feels more stable now and looks more like a BEEFY truck

    Garbage! This is a 2023, and Toyota has learned nothing from the problems with the 2022. Just imagine a full electric vehicle... They can't even get the batteries on a hybrid right! I just finished putting another ceramic coat on my 2019 TRD Pro. It only has 37000 miles on it; It is pristine. I wasn't in love with my 2019, until the 2022's came out. Good luck, bro.

    Hi,
    My old 2006 SR5 had the same problem. Drain the battery out, Toyota service don't know.
    I have to replace new battery and did the same thing next day.
    I end up replacing the alternator.
    Now it's ok, but concern.
    Thanks, PV.

  • @EvanIggy
    @EvanIggy Год назад

    It looks like they replaced the regular 12V battery right?
    I don’t believe they can check draw on the actual hybrid battery. Plus the hybrid battery doesn’t ‘start’ the car.
    And also, the Toyota battery testers have their own testing system that charges and tests load all on its own.
    So they could have charged it because the tester required it in order to fully test the battery.

    • @rant-n-rave7816
      @rant-n-rave7816  Год назад +1

      Totally agree with all the above, however common sense would tell you to let vehicle sit overnight and then do draw and cell test next day to find out why battery failed and went dead in the first place. Remember, vehicle was fine, started up every time with no signs of straining and suddenly took a shit after just sitting in a parking lot for 2 hours. Can’t just charge it up, pat me in the ass and say all is fine now…. call for a tow truck and bring it back if it continues…. that’s just stupid. Thx for watching and more stuff coming 👍🏼

  • @mikehughes8023
    @mikehughes8023 Год назад

    Ok, it’s a new platform so you got to expect some kind of issue. This is why you have a warranty. I’m seeing plenty of RUclips videos of every little thing on these trucks. And yes, it’s a little thing. My 2007 Crewmax limited had valve issues brand new 1100 miles. Warranty fixed it. It’s now 2023 with 286,472 miles and not a single defect after routine maintenance. It’s a vehicle folks. Things will happen but it’s up to you to maintain it. Not many parts available for this new platform so be patient.

    • @StubProductions
      @StubProductions Год назад

      @@rant-n-rave7816 that’s hard to believe that battery caused so much grief. It is not unusual for accessory batteries to fail on new vehicles like that. It’s possible that the window tinting water caused battery to discharge. The bigger issue is the vehicle losing its mind instead of just saying it needs a jump start. Glad you got it fixed

      I’m glad everything worked out for you. I’m a Toyota fan for years. I ended up buying a F150 King Ranch. Hybrid. Haven’t had a problem yet. I guess things happen to any make and model of truck. Seems like Toyota is having the same problem all manufacturers are having. I’m sure it will be fine from now on . I Love the look of that Truck. The prices are high for these things. You really shouldn’t have the problems like this ..especially buying this one. It’s crazy bad luck.
