Completely agree, his filmmaking is really something else. I find they say so much with relatively little dialogue and those images burrow into your subconscious.
Psychedelic horror is an extremely interesting genre imo as being someone who has done a number of psychedelics (Mush literally every other day and I did LSD back in back in June), it’s really cool to see something that I can personally relate to rather than your standard thriller because I have had horrifying trips.
