I as a Filipino, am very happy and satisfied with beatrice's performance. What's important for me is that we have a longer exposure within the competition. Reaching top 5 out of 80 girls is such a big achievement and something that every Filipino should be proud of. Thank you for giving us a good battle, Beatrice! Mabuhay ka!
Many filipinos are not satisfied with the results on today's ms u but they don't know that the philippines is lucky to reach top 5 among 80 delegates it's not easy to reach that position

@@damskie983 I must agree. I don't get it why they're not always satisfied despite our candidate's achievement and it sometimes leads our kababayan into being toxic. They don't even realize how hard it is to enter the top just 'cause we've been in a streak of placement. They don't know how each of our candidates has gone through just to meet their impossible standards. But for me, not expecting too much is what makes me less disappointed when results go the other way around. Basta enjoy lang ang moment. And most importantly, be contented specially when we reach top 16 it's for me, a big achievement. Bonus nalang pag naka pasok tayo into top 10, 5 and specially top 3

Miss India's overall performance was just perfect. Such a stunning, smart, classy young woman, congrats India! Well deserved! And i'm so proud of Bea, after all the hate she received she proved them wrong and brought the Philippines back to top 5. That's a huge achievement.

Actually no, stage is so long. Every candidate has a limited time. Some of them walked fastly and some of them made some artistic move at the beginning and we couldnt see them at the top of the stage.
I didn't expect Philippines this year to be that good after seeing her preliminary performance. She wasn't even everyone's top 5 picks before pageant but damn!! Girl that was FIIIREEE🔥🔥
I was really in awe when South Africa came out with that gown. She looks so Royal. Only crown is missing. But ofcourse I love our representative from Philippines. By the way, Ms. South Africas's gown is made by my fellow Filipino.👏👏👏

I had Vietnam, India and Paraguay in my Top Three!! I thought Vietnam did great in prelims... If Belgium had a better fit on her gown in prelims she may have made it to semi-finals. India was amazing!! A well deserved win!!

6:02 Back to when I saw her in the preliminary competition I didn't think Philippines would place. I just thought other women did better throughout the whole thing, I never hated her though. I just didn't feel anything outstanding when I saw her. But when she got called to the Top 16 and explained the story of her tattoo and when I saw her during the swimsuit competition I just started to feel different about her. But to me everything changed when I saw her evening gown performance, I could connect with her. I'm really happy she made it to the Top 5, I think she's very deserving. India, Paraguay and South Africa were my Final 3 picks after the prelims, but I personally never expected the Philippines to make it to the semifinals this year since so many other candidates were strong, leading up to the coronation night. Everything changed during the swimsuit and evening gown rounds when she really changed her gear with, dare I say, one of the most chill yet flawless presentations by any Filipino candidate in a Miss Universe live show. I commend her for defying the predictions of many and banking on her own skills to go all the way to Top 5.
Exactly! Bea proved that one does not need to be somebody else to get the attention. If you truly are secure of yourself, you are enough. She did very well and I’m so proud of her.
A lot of her countrymen don't expect her to be in the Top 10 to Top 5 because they favored the heavy favorites in MUP national pageant..but I've expected her to be in the Top 5 based on her bio/ profile alone..
I think Miss Philippines rose to the top 5 because of her charming personality and ability to read the energy of the audience. Being genuine to herself, precise, not overpowering, and classy appearance. Due to Bea's social media silence, the audience was also anticipating her performance. Do you see what I mean? You become more interested in a candidate if you see less of their internet activity. You must know when to devote your focus to significant situations such as prelims and finals. By the way, congrats to Miss India; the crown is in great hands, and I'm confident she'll have a successful reign!

Let's admit it Columbia , Paraguay and India were killing this part. Puerto Rico was beautiful but it's too much drama. The Philippines was okay but the gown was amazing which push her to the next round.

We share the same top3 for the EG. India was perfect in all aspects, not a fan of Paraguay's gown, it is more like a prelim gown for me but she performed so well. Colombia was like an angel gliding on the stage. Philippines gown was amazing ofc, but she had one of the best walk, i wish i'd have seen a fierce face of her. South Africa looked queenly. Puerto rico was my fvrt to win the mouwad but she over did everything & her gown & styling was not winner materiel too. France & USA deserved better gowns. Bahamas & Aruba were pleasant surprises of the night...

There were so many similarities between Sushmita Sen’s and Harnaaz’s Miss Universe performances - they both wore one piece swimsuits and silver evening gowns. Plus they were both announced 2nd into top 3 and the 3rd country announced (Colombia in 1994 & Paraguay in 2021) were both placed as 1st Runner Ups. This win was destined. It was meant to be.
The other beauty pagent chairman was already jealous saying the miss u committee where bastard that they should choose fresh young women. Don't know what music to choose. And Ms. India is ok. What the hell is he talking about. This women where strain very well. And from day 1 either Ms India or Ms Paraguay will get the crown because they are the one that standout. Brain Body and brain. Unlike his winner does not have brain and has a fake body.
Paraguay🇵🇾- Nadia starts the EG beautifully, she gave us a fairy performance with that winged gown, but still down to see her in a different gown for the final night. Gald she came up with a different hairstyle from her prelims. Puerto Rico🇵🇷- She came out so strong with that golden, silver shimmery gown but ended up terribly with that awkward shoulder movement, no doubt she ceased her chance of advancing to top 5. USA 🇺🇸- I felt like she's holdn back with her performance and not at all a fan her final gown it was too simple for me, I'll rather prefer her prelims gown though still it was busy and bulky. India🇮🇳 - Nothing to complain about her, she was consistent from prelims to natcos to the final night.,,after such a decade last year India bounce back so strong for the crown. Her walk, expression, smile, turns everything was on point. She was perfectly fit from head to toe and for me she wore the best gown that night.( she's an apple to everyone's eye that night ).Kudos India. South Africa 🇿🇦- I love this girl, she's been through so many just to be on that stage. SA always brings out magnificent gown to MU stage though still concerned that her performance was a bit stiff might be cus of the dress but her eye contact with the crowd says everything. Genuinely glad for her that she's advanced to top 3❤. Bahamas 🇧🇸- Bahamas was 'OK' to me, girl looked expensive with her glittered sliver gown that evening. Loved to see new countries advancing further in the competition. Philippines🇵🇭- Philippines has always been a crowed favorite in MU and she really had a great transformation from her prelims to final night, loved her authenticity. France 🇫🇷- France really need to take time for herself,,,she's kindda rush with her performance, no poses in between. Colombia🇨🇴- tired of seeing Colombian delegates with that similar gown designed now it's a high time they need to come up with different style. Other than that she gave a strong performance, loved her entrance, flowy hair, firlty pose perfect in all ways Aruba 🇦🇼- loved her gown, her height, skin tone but her walk was a bit slower so time consuming. Still in a great regret for not able to see Panama🇵🇦 in EG, she gave a strong SS performance, she such a great speaker, but still doubt what makes her hold back from advancing to top 10. For me best in SS : India, Panama, Puerto Rico, Paraguay, USA, Venezuela and Colombia. ❤❤❤❤❤

Philippines walk and entrance was iconic, the color of her gown matches with the background LED, also matches with the music, she was giving the FACE, her walk, her smile, and her aura. Definitely one of my favorite evening gown performances of all time.

Beatrice is a modern day Filipina. She’s different from the rest of the Miss Universe Philippines winners. She has the heart of a soldier, a resilient woman and she has a humble upbringing. What I love about her is that she doesn’t rely on social media for presence. She just focuses on her goal and she’s unbothered with all the criticisms she received. Beatrice slapped her bashers with silence. She proved them wrong by giving them a dose of their own medicine. She’s one of our best Miss Universe Philippines that graced the Miss Universe stage. She embodied a strong , confident and humble woman. Congratulations and we are so proud of you.

No way, Thailand 2018 was so much better! The production, staging, lighting, performances and contestants were much better! This year felt rushed, the finalists didn't get enough time on stage, the camera angles were off, Jojo's performance was no where near as good as Neyo and Steve was off this year. The audience didn't warm to him and his jokes fell flat. Also the Thai crowd was so much more animated than Israel. They went crazy for all the girls, the crowd in Israel was so dry even Steve had to tell them to give more energy. I also thought the judging was much better in 2018 with such a strong group of girls. This year so many contestants who had poor prelims made Top 16. I also thought The final answers were much better in 2018. Cat, Stefany and Tamryn were a more well rounded top 3 and they all had very strong performances. I also think Catriona's performance was flawless and better than Harnaz. 2018 was much better overall. Ps I'm from New Zealand.

I still remember when Jojo performed “Too Little Too Late” at Miss Teen USA 2006 when she was still a TEEN. Now she just entered her 30s and performing this very same song but to the Universe! What a full-circle moment! And she still repping Black Swan from the Masked Singer!

I as a Filipino, am very happy and satisfied with beatrice's performance. What's important for me is that we have a longer exposure within the competition. They don't even realize how hard it is to enter the top just 'cause we've been in a streak of placement. They don't know how each of our candidates has gone through just to meet their impossible standards. But for me, not expecting too much is what makes me less disappointed when results go the other way around. Basta enjoy lang ang moment. Actually no, stage is so long. Every candidate has a limited time. Some of them walked fastly and some of them made some artistic move at the beginning and we couldnt see them at the top of the stage.

6:02 Back to when I saw her in the preliminary competition I didn't think Philippines would place. I just thought other women did better throughout the whole thing, I never hated her though. I just didn't feel anything outstanding when I saw her. But when she got called to the Top 16 and explained the story of her tattoo and when I saw her during the swimsuit competition I just started to feel different about her. But to me everything changed when I saw her evening gown performance, I could connect with her. I'm really happy she made it to the Top 5, I think she's very deserving. India, Paraguay and South Africa were my Final 3 picks after the prelims, but I personally never expected the Philippines to make it to the semifinals this year since so many other candidates were strong, leading up to the coronation night. Everything changed during the swimsuit and evening gown rounds when she really changed her gear with, dare I say, one of the most chill yet flawless presentations by any Filipino candidate in a Miss Universe live show. I commend her for defying the predictions of many and banking on her own skills to go all the way to Top 5.

I think Miss Philippines rose to the top 5 because of her charming personality and ability to read the energy of the audience. Being genuine to herself, precise, not overpowering, and classy appearance. Due to Bea's social media silence, the audience was also anticipating her performance. Do you see what I mean? You become more interested in a candidate if you see less of their internet activity. You must know when to devote your focus to significant situations such as prelims and finals. We share the same top3 for the EG. India was perfect in all aspects, not a fan of Paraguay's gown, it is more like a prelim gown for me but she performed so well. Colombia was like an angel gliding on the stage. Philippines gown was amazing ofc, but she had one of the best walk, i wish i'd have seen a fierce face of her. South Africa looked queenly.
Puerto rico was my fvrt to win the mouwad but she over did everything & her gown & styling was not winner materiel too. France & USA deserved better gowns. Bahamas & Aruba were pleasant surprises of the night...

The other beauty pagent chairman was already jealous saying the miss u committee where bastard that they should choose fresh young women. Don't know what music to choose. And Ms. India is ok. What the hell is he talking about. This women where strain very well. And from day 1 either Ms India or Ms Paraguay will get the crown because they are the one that standout. Brain Body and brain. Unlike his winner does not have brain and has a fake body.
Paraguay🇵🇾- Nadia starts the EG beautifully, she gave us a fairy performance with that winged gown, but still down to see her in a different gown for the final night. Gald she came up with a different hairstyle from her prelims.
Puerto Rico🇵🇷- She came out so strong with that golden, silver shimmery gown but ended up terribly with that awkward shoulder movement, no doubt she ceased her chance of advancing to top 5.
USA 🇺🇸- I felt like she's holdn back with her performance and not at all a fan her final gown it was too simple for me, I'll rather prefer her prelims gown though still it was busy and bulky.
India🇮🇳 - Nothing to complain about her, she was consistent from prelims to natcos to the final night.,,after such a decade last year India bounce back so strong for the crown. Her walk, expression, smile, turns everything was on point. She was perfectly fit from head to toe and for me she wore the best gown that night.( she's an apple to everyone's eye that night ).Kudos India.
South Africa 🇿🇦- I love this girl, she's been through so many just to be on that stage. SA always brings out magnificent gown to MU stage though still concerned that her performance was a bit stiff might be cus of the dress but her eye contact with the crowd says everything. Genuinely glad for her that she's advanced to top 3❤.
Bahamas 🇧🇸- Bahamas was 'OK' to me, girl looked expensive with her glittered sliver gown that evening. Loved to see new countries advancing further in the competition.
Philippines🇵🇭- Philippines has always been a crowed favorite in MU and she really had a great transformation from her prelims to final night, loved her authenticity.
France 🇫🇷- France really need to take time for herself,,,she's kindda rush with her performance, no poses in between.
Colombia🇨🇴- tired of seeing Colombian delegates with that similar gown designed now it's a high time they need to come up with different style. Other than that she gave a strong performance, loved her entrance, flowy hair, firlty pose perfect in all ways
Aruba 🇦🇼- loved her gown, her height, skin tone but her walk was a bit slower so time consuming.

Philippines walk and entrance was iconic, the color of her gown matches with the background LED, also matches with the music, she was giving the FACE, her walk, her smile, and her aura. Definitely one of my favorite evening gown performances of all time.

What I love about her is that she doesn’t rely on social media for presence. She just focuses on her goal and she’s unbothered with all the criticisms she received. Beatrice slapped her bashers with silence. She proved them wrong by giving them a dose of their own medicine. She’s one of our best Miss Universe Philippines that graced the Miss Universe stage. She embodied a strong , confident and humble woman. Congratulations and we are so proud of you.

No way, Thailand 2018 was so much better! The production, staging, lighting, performances and contestants were much better! This year felt rushed, the finalists didn't get enough time on stage, the camera angles were off, Jojo's performance was no where near as good as Neyo and Steve was off this year. The audience didn't warm to him and his jokes fell flat. Also the Thai crowd was so much more animated than Israel. They went crazy for all the girls, the crowd in Israel was so dry even Steve had to tell them to give more energy. I also thought the judging was much better in 2018 with such a strong group of girls. This year so many contestants who had poor prelims made Top 16. I also thought The final answers were much better in 2018. Cat, Stefany and Tamryn were a more well rounded top 3 and they all had very strong performances. I also think Catriona's performance was flawless and better than Harnaz. 2018 was much better overall. Ps I'm from New Zealand.
