The increased fuse sensitivity should make it less likely to get caught in bushes too. That would prove useful in some instances where you don't have access to darts.

From my testing, it has about 89mm of kinetic penetration where it’ll explode inside vehicles, making it good against the sides of MBTs and light tanks alike. It likes to avoid ERA as well because it has that fuse, so there’s that too.

Kontakt-5 and Relikt may detonate, since their explosive filler is more sensitive and requires lower impact velocities. This doesn’t matter though if you hit the road wheels because the lower portion of Russian tanks is only 30 or so mm and can cause overpressure down there.

Consider the 6.7 area when lights roamed free and untouched by gaijin, like the RU 251 which was (and still is) and excellent light tank that really loves to stomp the slower heavies at its br range when used well. Only difference here is that this round it specifically useful against said little shits, but with the added utility of being useful against proper tanks and even tanks with ERA.
It really isn't. You'll have your moments where it kills you most likely due to a bug, ie: when hitting the tracks of Maus and some other tanks with large caliber HE would overpressure them for about a week or two before it was supposedly patched. But besides that the destructive power of HE and it's other variants (HESH and some non-russian large caliber HEAT) more often than not don't actually work well or at all. Especially HESH. The only aspects of HE that are OP is some medium caliber HE is able to overpressure certain open top TDs from the front of the hull when the only part that is open is at the rear. But it's not often that it is actually used anyway and plus it's damage that it should have isn't good anyhow so that can make up for it. If HE, HESH, and the HE part of HEAT were to actually work properly/reliably, and therefore make the vehicles that use them actually feel good to use and worth the (often) half a minute or longer reload, you would be complaining a lot more even though it would be accurate and not OP besides specific vehicles; but in those cases the vehicles are the problem, not the munition.

There are other vehicles, often TDs at lower BR, that have the same firepower as heavies but with beter mobility, and we all know that firepower and mobility are the only things that matter in WT. Also, there’s the problem of APHE. I believe its shrapnel is already a bit too much on the OP side, but it’s the fact that large calibre (88mm and up) APHE will reliably overpressure your ass even if it pens your engine compartment that really twists my knickers. There was this one time me being foolish and driving the Tortoise and i got penned in the fucking cupola by an IS-2. I understand the IS-2’s APHE is as devastating as they get, but having your entire crew shit the bed because someone just about managed to knick the very edge of your cupola from across the map is simply not fun.
It is. It can penetrate a good deal before it explodes, meaning it ignores the advantage of a spall line because overpressure doesn’t care as long as it explodes inside.

It’s good against anything with ERA too, except thick multilayered versions like the ARAT-ARAT 2 layout of the SEP V2.
