I learnt sooo much in this video! I love your process, it makes it a lot more manageable and less boring. It's made me want to try making a new save! Last time I tried, I got bored half way through deleting the lots lol.
Rather than moving in and evicting each you can just undo their heart on their Households search panel. They will be under the un-played sims column. hitting x is what deletes them. Hitting and removing heart is safe.
You are a good teacher. Your Sims videos are a refreshing change from the others. Nice pacing, sticking to the point, a pleasant voice and I like that you're not all up in the camera. I know how to do most of this stuff, but you seem to be quite efficient and present new ways to go about playing. Thank you :-)
I am kind of doing this slowly through playing At one point I had over a dozen young adults that I played in rotation. I saved them all in CAS, aged them down to toddlers, generated parents for them and put them in a new save. I am playing them up until they all graduate from Uni. I will then use them for a master save. Along the way, I made-over University dormies. I will be placing my favorite dormies in homes as well. Once I have everyone on their own, or living as roommates, I will put a final edit on them all for a master save and use it for new games.
This was so helpful and I enjoyed the series please add more. I decided to do a save file and right now I am working on just community lots and was trying to figure out how to go about what to do with the actual sims. This was the best information I have found and super helpful! Keep up the great work!
Honestly so helpful and practical, I'm sure the entire series will be such a great and straightforward tutorial, thanks and nice presentation style that was easy to follow, looking forward to the rest
I didn’t think that you could just evict all the residents in a town. I don’t know why this never occurred to me before but I really want to do this now. Seems really fun! Thanks!
1:50 when you are in the "moving with: [household]" you can just click that "X" on the side of the household name and the family will be automatically sent to the "not in the scenario" section.
Love this series! Just wondering, is there a reason why you place the Sims and then evict them? Would you get the same results from just removing them from My Households (as Lauren V. said)? I want to make sure it will still work before I go to all the effort.
This is great thank you and it does help me. Since i have been in two minds in relation to save files i have been looking at two but I really don't want to play with the current households that the person has created but want them included in my game.
Thank you for the video and the tips. Is there a way to keep the save file for each new game? Or when you create a new game everything will be back to default?
What I do is make a save game that I am going to set everything up in, and then from there, without playing in it yet, make a copy of the save and use that for your new game. So every time you want a new game, you just make a copy of the save game you already went and organized and what not!
I cant find how to make a copy of the save file so i can replay on it with new save files ::(( im really stuck here and i cant figure it out ! I tried to copy and paste a file directly from my Saves folder and pasting it back in but it didnt work ;(
The way I do it isn't through messing with the actual save files, I do it in game. So you load up the save file you're going to want to reuse, and then once you're loaded in, you can go to options and click "save as" and click the option "add new save", and there you will save a copy of your save file that you will use for your game! Let me know if that was confusing at all!
HOW THE FUDGE DO I MAKE IT SO I CAN CONTROL EVERYTHING?? I HAVE SEARCHED AND SEARCHED AND SEARCHED AND SEARCHED AND SEARCHED AND SEARCHED AND SEARCHED AND SEARCHED. help me please.
Im making a save file to download on my new computer, when I download my cc furniture and clothes will they still be in my sims house and will my sims still be wearing the clothes?
@@simsbysky7000 Hi, sorry to bother you again lol but I checked my game and my cc is downloaded but my sims aren't wearing their clothes and the cc furniture isn't placed. Do you know if maybe I did something wrong or if there is something I can do to avoid having to place all of the cc back into its previous place?
@@ayianaelveus2223 Oh no! I am sorry that's happening. I don't see why it wouldn't be loading into place, have you tried copying your entire sims folder to your new computer?
@@simsbysky7000 Thank you so much but I was able to get it fixed, I think I just messed something up when I downloaded my old cc on my new computer. Thank you tho!
