    I have one in my GN and I love it. People bitch about the ratcheting noise on turns or the rear end sometimes kicking out on you while coming out of a turn but when they lock, they LOCK! You don't have to worry about wearing clutches or finding the stupid additive for the factory positraction setup.

      How about when you are turning and also climbing up, such as in hilly areas, do they perform well?

      @@moonis-ahmad I can't really speak on that because mine is in a street car.

    So am I correct in thinking it is best to coast through turns on hardball if you are running one of these?

      They unlock only when turning, any power will lock them back up and wear out tires

    Why are they so loud going from reverse to forward. Sound like a tooth breaking off every time

    Thinks it’s okay to use these on a daily driver Jeep JL front and rear?

    • @superjeep47
      @superjeep47  2 года назад +3

      You would need unlocking hubs in the front to be able to run on the street. I do not like how they handle in the rear, you can put up with it, I did for many years. What you save in money with one in the rear, you will loose in excessive tire wear. Tire live approximately half as long.

      JL has the FAD system that disconnects the front axle in 2wd, so in 2wd it will be fine, once you shift to 4wd you will the locker activated and have to deal w/ it's limitations.

      You will love the traction, and hate how it handles. Putting 300 extra lbs over the rear axle will help it work better, the weight adds traction, the traction helps it release around corners

      Нужно аккуратно дозировать газ в поворотах и менять направление тяги ( сброс газа после положительного и наоборот набор тяги после сброса) через выжим сцепления, тогда всё работает нормально. В любом случае на нём нужно аккуратно проходить повороты малого радиуса, это единственный существенный недостаток

    This how they should work. In the rear these tend to work great in steering axles these are absolutely terrible, mainly the spartan brand they are fucking garbage
