Preaching facts on how to deal with drunk people. Last time I had to, my mom was talking to a neighbor who was hammered, trying to reason with her. To be fair, I've known this lady since childhood, always had issues with mental illness that were undiagnosed and untreated. My grandma was a psychiatrist and her best guess was bipolar or something like that, but she wasn't sure since she'd never sat down with her. Long story short, my mom was frustrated after 15 minutes of trying, remembered I told her to call me the next time our neighbor got like that and I had her out the door in 15 seconds, accommodating for her unsteadiness but not letting her turn around to talk. Drunk people are exactly like difficult horses in a sense. Firm, no-nonsense talk and action.
If I hadn't watched Leon's videos for as many years as I have, I would totally have thought he's a perfect "let me speak to your manager" type, lol. The air of bravado he gives off is so polar opposite to his genuine and kind-hearted personality, and the juxtaposition of the two makes a marvelous bit of entertainment.

So sad to see, I was raised by a high functioning alcoholic and honestly the self delusion is the saddest part to see, hope she learnt from this but the sad reality is most alcoholics that are classed as functional realise too late to save them.
I have an aunt like this. :( Years of drinking has utterly destroyed her liver. And she fell last year and broke her hip. She already had severe foot damage that wasn't being operated on yet because she refused to quit smoking to satisfy the anesthesiologist, and then she had to be admitted for emergency surgery anyway to fix her hip. She's also recently become addicted to painkillers because of her foot (thanks a heap, opioid companies), and the woman is just a huge mess. She's the type to blame everyone but herself for things going wrong in her life, and thinks she's the victim because all of her friends and relatives have cut contact with her toxic ass. :/ She lives a miserable, lonely, unhappy and unhealthy life, and all I can wonder is how long before her crippled liver, tar-coated lungs, or other body malfunction finally takes her out. Because it seems like that's all she has to look forward to now. :(
@@Shukochan This sounds like my mother, honestly. Although, she didn’t start with alcohol. She went straight to opiates after being prescribed them for a back injury. She’s homeless now (by choice) and has recently had half her foot amputated (uncontrolled diabetes). My little brother died last year due to the lifestyle she raised him in. She has no one left in her life now, except her junkie friends and my grandmother (who is incapable of going no contact, even though she knows she should and often tries). Addiction can absolutely _decimate_ lives.
I know I've said this before about these videos, but I appreciate SO MUCH your moments of empathy for folks like this, and your ability to laugh at a situation and not necessarily a person or addiction. It is indeed a silly situation, but these videos end up making me a little sad. If she is an alcoholic (and I can't assume that), I hope she finds help and doesn't hurt anyone. As such, she thinks she can handle the police officers the exact same way and it will work.
Except that this time it didn't. I like your optimism about her maybe learning something from this, Leon, but even if she does learn something... She may have enough sense not to do this again (maybe, maybe not) but the vibe I get from this woman is that her ego simply can't take a hit like this gracefully.
This Lowes is just down the road from me and I go there all the time. This is not out of the ordinary. Some Drunk Karens just need some paint!!
My GF and I are having a bet on what state since the mentioned the NAPPA in Ohio.
@@kampiestarzMiami, Florida.
Came from the plantations where you need a pass to return I would bet. Was this HH island? I saw a lot of drunks whilst visiting there. Old men and walkers in Ferrari sports car. I told my husband if he does I’m going there looking for a hot car and an old man with a bad cough. This Karen prob was called Cathy.
@@ianmacfarlane1241I missed your statement. I was guessing by the burn and the attitude and age and bike the outer banks. 🤣
Threats are a way to release fear or anger when idiots realize they were caught doing the wrong thing.
Happens all the time Leon. Almost a daily thing getting drunk in the Lowe's parking lot, after a bike ride, and completely forgetting that I got in a car accident.... Almost daily.... I need to stop going to Lowe's. Maybe I'll check out Walmart tomorrow.
🤣🤣
You know someone is good when they say "I'm Good" for no reason
The officer that responded quickly has probably seen arrest attempts that went bad for the arresting officer.
The “oh my godddd Cathyyyyy” really got me. My name is Catherine and I don’t go by Cathy, but boy have I screamed my name in my head a few times before like that. 😂
Her grandchildren must be so proud of her, what a great role model!
That storm in the background tells you what is going to happen.
The speaker reminds me of the Dragnet series. Great show 👌
12:03 ran like the woman was his former mother in law.
Chances are that her husband is going to show up in two days ..😂😂😂 19:37
I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that they weren't bike riding, but instead sitting at her friends house getting day drunk. Why she ended up at Lowe's is still a mystery
Black spray cover-up paint the car damage ?!?
@@stephaniewright5909good call!
I think i can crack this mystery.... Cause she was day drunk :P
Believe it or not, women are going to Lowe's and Home Depot to find their future husbands! Is nothing sacred 😕 😐 😢 😑
Lmfao i love the mom voice "you better tell me where we are going".
"You aint getting the cuffs on, you know thats my favorite part Mitchel" hahaha you're a trip bro. Lmfao. Thats the kind of back up you want tho, dude ran and acted with purpose. Well done
The gradual zoom in on your face as you go on the windshield tangent is my absolute favorite
You're spot on Leon... It's kind and decent to have a LIMITED level of empathy for some of these people. But, they should absolutely be required to watch the full body cam video of their arrest. It's important to be humbled if you're not going to humble yourself during a lawful DUI arrest. I wouldn't be surprised if she's been through this before.
The windshield wipers though. I can't.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Yep, she’s going to report him for that, as well as for the way he turned a corner. I bet he’s TERRIFIED!😂😂😂😂
Leon reacting to body cam videos is the only content I NEED!!
Omg, Leon, your comment about Officer Usain Bolt made me lol! Well played, sir, because that officer was an OG... 😂😂😂
Your "reenactments" of drunk logic Make My Effin Day every single time.
I love when Leon says something and its so funny that he laughs and himself 😂
My father was leaving a bar back in the 70's on a bike when he fell off the bike trying to cross a street... In front of a cop. He spent the night in a drunk tank and was charged with a DUI. 😂
A friend of mine in high school suffered a similar fate after a bicycle accident where he lost his two front teeth. DUI
@@melissarobinson3826that’s pretty dumb since the only person you can seriously injure is yourself…it’s not a motorized vehicle either which isn’t the law?
@@BakedBrain7100nope, not dumb. They can get onto the road, obstruct traffic, ride into pedestrians, fall extremely hard, go too fast downhill. Bike accidents can seriously injure and kill people easier than you think, the rider or anyone else. A bike is a vehicle. 🚲
😂 my friend got a dui on a bicycle in college. she said she was riding on the side of the road and the cops were driving next to her, watching her fall off her bike several times before pulling her over 😅
@@BakedBrain7100 I would have thought that as well but apparently there is some risk to others, say if he pulled onto the road in front of a car. It still doesn’t seem totally fair, but I’ve heard of other cases of it happening.
I have been checking hourly for a new video. I’m laid up in bed waiting on back surgery. One of my can’t walk days. I needed you today Leon! Thanks for showing up 🎉❤
Hope your surgery & recovery goes well.
Good luck my friend!
Good luck!
The closer she is to the camera and the more the situation escalates the more she gives off the energy of the mom from Shameless. Looks like her too
Lmfao yes!! 💯💯💯 🤣🤣🤣
Bro she really hit him with the uno reverse and told the cap he was free to go loll
Love the back-up Cop ❤He took care of business!!
I am ALL about the way this woman pronounces the word "PHONE."
FEHHNN😂😂😂😂
She’s drunk and says I can’t find my keys to car!!!!! wtf! Can’t she stay drunk at home and order on line for deliver? 😂
Every video
“don’t touch me”
“get your hands off me”
“you can’t do that”
“I know my rights”
“I’m going to sue”
“you are getting fired for this”
Do they teach this shit in schools cause they all say the same stuff over and over.
Also "I had two drinks" , "let me call my boyfriend/husband/lawyer"😂😂😂

These things are always said because it's the language of entitled people. Don't forget the ones who then also scream "r*pe" those ones piss me off to the maximum.
@@shady62minxalso adding the word “Bro” into this statement constantly
Like a Good Cop, Bad Cop. First one was being very polite second was not messing about. I was typing this just as you mentioned it in the video.
She makes it sound like since she was doing something that’s considered “healthy,” (riding a bike) she couldn’t possibly be a drunk, too.
You can get arrested for biking impaired as well 😂
Although I've seen this bodycam video before, I enjoy seeing it again with your hilarious commentary. Keep 'em coming, Leon!
Leon drinking from his Stanley Cup, giving serious male Karen vibes
If I hadn't watched Leon's videos for as many years as I have, I would totally have thought he's a perfect "let me speak to your manager" type, lol. The air of bravado he gives off is so polar opposite to his genuine and kind-hearted personality, and the juxtaposition of the two makes a marvelous bit of entertainment.
they were awesome cups before all this drama, they are awesome cups still, dont blame the cup, blame the people acting like they are golden goblets. lol ive had mine for 4 years and its better than my yeti. like dont let stanley tank because a bunch of idiots like it. company has been here longer than any of us. and been a leader in the industry for the entire time.
@@hollyshaw-elliemae I love my yeti is stanley really better?
Lmao, i was thinking “I didn’t see him drinking out of a trophy shaped cup”
Then I read the replies. Had no idea this was a thing🤷♂️
In England we've had Stanley cups for a really long time. Stanley cups/flasks are awesome and really well made (there are other brands now a days that do the mug flask version just as good or good enough). I don't understand Americans going crazy for them since they have been around for so long.
Dude, you are hilarious! I NEVER watch these types of videos that are more than 10 minutes long. I watch your entire video to hear your commentary!
man that cop was playin bangers at first when they got her in 14:59
So sad to see, I was raised by a high functioning alcoholic and honestly the self delusion is the saddest part to see, hope she learnt from this but the sad reality is most alcoholics that are classed as functional realise too late to save them.
She's 67.....there are no lessons left....
That second cop has definitely seem some stuff from drunk drivers ☹️
I know I've said this before about these videos, but I appreciate SO MUCH your moments of empathy for folks like this, and your ability to laugh at a situation and not necessarily a person or addiction. It is indeed a silly situation, but these videos end up making me a little sad. If she is an alcoholic (and I can't assume that), I hope she finds help and doesn't hurt anyone. (Although it takes about 2 seconds for an alcoholic to hurt anyone close to them). Heart ya, Lush.
She’s 67? That’s half a century of bs from just one person.
It was the continuous "I haven't been driving drunk, I was riding my bike" ,and the "I didn't smash my car into his car, I've been riding my bike all morning " that had me laughing! Also, asking the cop where they were going, after being told that she's going down to the police station! Where did she think they were going - Disneyland?
The entitlement of some people never cease to amaze me!
"instead of, like, hitting a Lowes sign or a parked car, maybe this prevents you from next time hitting a human or a child" so children aren't human? 😂😂😂
You must not have kids. 😉
Have you met many children?
They are harder to see humans. You know what he meant..
Even when ive already seen bodycam footage, when you cover it I have to watch again. You have the best commentary.
“I was not an accident.” Correct, you were a mistake
