ABOUT THE VIDEO
Following the successful test that was "Les Temps Modernes II", "Club Hitchcock" members decided to try and adapt the famous fairy tale "Jack and the Beanstalk".
This movie, made in 2008, during the summer holidays, and filmed in Achkout, is of course amateurish, but is still deeply rooted in my heart as a source of pride.
Nobody ever forgets their first try at creating a work of art !
I still look back more than fondly on this summer and on the teenagers and kids we were my cousins and I.
I applaud the milestone that was this small film and admire what we were able to achieve using basic means, a small camera, and, of course, Windows Movie Maker !

Raymond Aftimos is a Lebanese film school graduate from IESAV-USJ and works as a filmmaker, director, editor, writer, screenwriter and researcher.
Since 2012, and apart from his personal projects, he has been active in both theatre and filmmaking and has contributed, mainly as a freelancer, to several works, under the direction of creators such as Philippe Aractingi, Betty Taoutel, Lina Abyad, Émile Sleilaty, Carmen Labaki, Feyrouz Serhal, Carol Mansour and Muna Khalidi …
He is passionate about entertainment, performing arts and music, but also equally enjoys crafting archive, portrait and historical documentaries.
