A tribute to Charles de Gaulle, directed by Raymond Aftimos and produced by ADALF (Association pour le développement de l'amitié libano-française) in collaboration with IESAV (Institut d'études scéniques, audiovisuelles et cinématographiques de l'Université Saint-Joseph de Beyrouth).
The short version of this documentary was screened on the 18th of June 2015 in Deir el Qalaa-Beit Mery in Lebanon as part of the 75th anniversary of De Gaulle's radio appeal.

Following my portrait of Salwa al Katrib in late 2014, this film is a continuation of my work in archival documentaries, in 2015.

Raymond Aftimos is a Lebanese film school graduate from IESAV-USJ and works as a filmmaker, director, editor, writer, screenwriter and researcher.
Since 2012, and apart from his personal projects, he has been active in both theatre and filmmaking and has contributed, mainly as a freelancer, to several works, under the direction of creators such as Philippe Aractingi, Betty Taoutel, Lina Abyad, Émile Sleilaty, Carmen Labaki, Feyrouz Serhal, Carol Mansour and Muna Khalidi …
He is passionate about entertainment, performing arts and music, but also equally enjoys crafting archive, portrait and historical documentaries.
