Diptyque is such an underrated house, you don’t really hear much about them. I also noticed frag stores rarely mention any scent from the house when you ask “What’s new and trending?”. Even though most of their scents are quite amazing.
100% agree with you, Diptyque at retail prices are not even pricey for a niche house and the fragrance are unique and amazing! Even their bottles look gorgeous in my opinion
Yeah they dont get talked about enough in the general fragrance scene, but their candles are revered among luxury candle lovers in the candle community
Wearing this today. So elegant. Lasts and projects very well for me, and I can still smell it as I walk past my blazer two days after applying. In a local shop I walked by two lovely ladies (they honestly were very lovely!) and one said "Oh, that smells soooo lovely!" She then picked up the reed diffuser that the store had on a counter to see if it was that lol She looked bemused when it wasn't. If it wasn't such a sad thing to do I'd have said something like "I think that lovely fragrance may have been emanating from me, ma'am" lol
Hey! Thanks for bringing more and more sophisticated lowkey niche houses to a new audience on this channel! Ive heard about many of these houses over the years from the perfume guy and redolessence but i've wanted to hear your takes on them for a while! Your honesty cannot be beaten.
great fragrance! very much Dyptique’s take on the the rose/patchouli combo that everyone praises on fragrances like Noir de Noir or POAL. One Of My Favorites from the house. nice to see you featuring more interesting fragrances! cheers!
Try 34 boulevard Saint Germain , it's the best scent of Diptyque for me. It's a bit hard to find now and was rumored to be discontinued. Good thing it's not
@@bennybennyta The woodiness is rather one dimensional in the drydown and the spice comes off a bit metallic as in Terenzi's Porpora. Not as grandma-ish as many people would had me believe, but it's more of a dark patchouli scent than a rose one. And it's nowhere near as clean as Eau Capitale.
Love Diptyque. I agree that they don't get a lot of attention with fragrance reviewers. Their Oud Palao is still my favorite Oud fragrance. Sorry, Oud For Greatness! Eau Capitale is one of my mother's favorites. It smells lovely on her.
One of my fragrance regrets is not buying a bottle of Diptyque's Virgilio before it was discontinued. Though it had some performance issues, it was a great, green fragrance with a terrific basil note.

I love Diptyque’s candles. They have a high quality scent and fill the room.

Really adore for this one. Projection and longevity are really good. Eau Capitale, Portrait of a lady and Les Sables Roses are top 3 rose for me.

Great review and I enjoyed it and I'm going to try it and have a blessed day
Whereas POAL didn't do it for me, this one did. Works far better on me. I even prefer it over Declaration d'un Soir as a spicy rose. 🌹
Why POAL isn't for you?

I LOVE this brand. EAU DE SENS is just amazing
Have not had anyone not like Eau Capitale. Its a crowd pleaser
Sounds very interesting I like the combination and my scent of the day is Tom Ford tobacco vanille 😊
Diptyque is a great house, Philosykos EDT is good and I love Tam Dao EDT too
Got a bottle on the way, at a good discount 🙂 looking forward to it! Thanks 👍
How much discount did you get please?

This is a regret of mine as well 😮💨
I really like their car air fresheners, highly recommend
Used all brands but this one is my favorite
Eau Capitale is good shit...I love it.
Hello, what do we have here?
🦆
@@Ajibolaa 👋🏻
does ash see light?
I always think Diptyque is way overprice, and weak performance
