Hey brotha! Hope all is well. The trick with mixing of the two parts is a practice all in its own! It took me a while to figure it out but you’re on the right path. What I found is that separating the mixed epoxy into smaller containers is key so that the chemical reaction happens more slowly so that you can get that thick honey consistency while still being able to pour swirl and level. Hope this makes sense. How’s the channel coming along these days?
I like the result you got with the color mix , I'd like to do something similar using a mix of dark blue and burnt orange, and a mix of emerald green and black.
Mistakes SUCKS...However, as long as we learn from them we'll always be improving and getting better. My last carve of the fallen soldier Silhouette didn't go as planned when the base plate broke💩🤬 but just like you I preserved and finished the creation. I love making things! Love your videos!💯 Love the the project! Love that you show the truth behind making shiiiiit.👍 Keep on persevering my friend!🚀 Cheers to you! 🤘🤠🥃
No dammit! There's this guy in an epoxy FB group that posts these bad ass tables. And we all ask him how he gets the look and he won't respond! Grrr Cheers
Mistakes - my one and only resin project, large circular table top of beer bottle caps. Designed carefully and lots with specific memories. Bolloxed the resin temp (I think) Whole thing is cloudy 😞 😞 😞
I would like to se a "save"! Is it possible to make a cool save if you take the router. Make a inlay there the miss is, the first letter. Or maybe the first word? And then laser away, writing just the inlay? Does it pop out like "wow or "noway"... However, its nice to see that even the pro's make mistakes! 😜 Thank's for a good show!
I could. The only issue is that it's where the text is. And not to mention that my father in law mistook it for a cutting board and marred the shit out of it while I was gone. LOL Cheers
Build them yourself diy style. I'm actually in the process of researching it myself for a home theater... tons of online reference material out. Could do your own videos on it . Good Luck
burning through a quote about fire- seems good to me!

Fab build. Will give this a go. Brilliant
Nice work! As a machinist, I always ALWAYS do a test run on a scrap pice for an R&D project. Definitely looks kick a$$ though.
Thanks brother!

Love what you did with your cross sled.
LOL Thanks!
Cheers
You won't notice the slight mistake if you do the other side and then plane the mistake away. Nice work! epoxy is on my list for testing soon.
You'll dig it!
Cheers

Super awesome! but was i the only one yelling at him to center the text lmao
It is centered...
Mistakes aside, that looks fantastic! Could you not fill that void with epoxy?
I could. The only issue is that it's where the text is. And not to mention that my father in law mistook it for a cutting board and marred the shit out of it while I was gone. LOL

@@BuildDadBuild That made me LOL. :)
They are not mistakes they are manufactured imperfections.
