  • RTTW Ride To The Wall.
Each year on the first Saturday in October many thousands of motorcycles from all over the UK and continent converge on the National Memorial Arboretum at Alrewas Staffordshire. Each rider and their pillion passengers pay to attend and rain or shine they ride - all money raised is donated to the NMA and is used in its upkeep. A truly beautiful place, the central monument "The Wall" is inscribed with the names of the fallen and its grounds contain scores of individual statues and monuments both military and non-military. It's special place and well worthy of a visit.
This short video shows the departure of around 200 bikes from Wolseley Bridge on the outskirts of the nearby town of Rugeley.

thanky you so much for you support today, I was the very last one out, so not sure I made video, as I was taking my 71 year old Aunt who has never missed one, had problems getting her back on the bike

Thanks Tina, Under normal circumstances I would have been riding myself with my wife as passenger but I'm still not 100% after Covid a couple of months back.
