Would you ever consider spending 10 days in total silence? 😇

I love everything about that retreat you’ve described! I like your last comment on hearing people voice for the first time! Great you can’t judge anybody for how they talk, the ton of their voice! It’s amazing that connection was made only from vibration!

Wow..so the fact that this even exist is kinda scary lol. I mean don't get me wrong to each his own I won't knock it just cause its not for me, but, well laying out rules that say one human being can't even look another in the eye, sorry but that sounds like a prison camp lol. I can't imagine this going on for 10 days straight, just seems dehumanizing almost. Again this is just my opinion and I'm very interested to see what others think☺️ I'm sure there are those who would find this interesting and I'm glad this young lady liked her experience, but I can't imagine anything more unhealthy than 10 days straight of this, I don't just mean physically I mean emotionally unhealthy. I can definitely see clearing the head with some silence and peace I do that as often as I can we all need rest, but we weren't meant to interact that way, or should I say not interact lol. I hope they make exceptions for emergencies and let someone through to tell you a family member is dying, or just let you leave if you can't stand it lol. Anyone else ever done anything like this? Let's get these comments going I'd love to know what everyone thinks especially if you've had the experience 😊

Hi Tabitha! There is staff available to speak with throughout the retreat if you have any questions about the course or practicalities to address urgently. All students are required to share an emergency contact and can access their phone as needed. And of course, people are free to leave the retreat if they find it's not for them! In fact, many do. So, only people who find the retreat to be a positive undertaking stay through the whole thing. It's definitely not for everyone but for some it can be a really unique experience that can add a valuable new perspective!
