- Confession time...I am a disorganized person! And my pantry was giving me major anxiety, so I decided to channel my inner Home Edit fan and do something about it. I organized my pantry with some items from the Walmart Home Edit collection and I was surprised just how easy it was to organize my pantry. This video is for the disorganized like me that need a little encouragement to tackle an organizing project. The pantry is a great place to start! This video is not sponsored. I think this was the first organizing video that I could relate to! Very logical and accessible. Great idea to show the empty space/place holders.
Looks great! You do not have to throw away expired food. That date just represents when it is best to consume. Depending on the product, it is safe to eat for a long time.
Yep, I know. But some of it expired in 2020. 😬 Just seemed like a stretch.

I appreciate that you left plenty of room for incoming foods and back stock, because that’s a mistake I see a lot of people make. They organize for what they have in that moment, but then they bring a bunch of food home and suddenly it’s a mess again.

What a difference, it looks great! I wish I had a pantry.l have these tall cabinets that are so deep I have to pull out things in front to get to the things that are in the back. I haven’t figured out how to arrange my stuff yet 😅 Thanks for sharing.
We had a cabinet like that for our pantry. We added those pull out trays on the shelves and it helped so much.

Beautiful pantry!! I absolutely love the clear containers. I need to be able to see the things I have. Which I don’t have right now, so as soon as I can save some extra money, I am going to order some. Thanks for showing us some of what they have and for telling us about the starter kit. That is an affordable way to start a collection of them. I do use woven baskets a lot like what you got and I do LOVE them. Are you going to label them with your Cricut?
Awesome! You read my mind...yes once I know this system works, I will put labels on the bins to make it easier to keep it organized. Wasn't ready to commit to labeling them until we know we like where everything is.
Loved the video. well edited, well paced, well explained and I love that you went into detail after the reveal to show your thought process on organizing it. After I do a shelf upgrade this is going to be on my list.

Yup, Publix and Kroger are the two "main" grocery stores around Nashville.
Is it not better to use glass containers for the flour and grains, because of weevils that can lay their eggs?
Decades ago, I set up my cabinets with Tupperware modular mates. Thirty-five years later, I’m still using the same containers.

I wish I had a pantry space ! I turned my coat closet into a space to store my appliances, Kitchen-aid, air fryer, instant pot, etc. made a huge difference in my kitchen.
I feel your pain. This is the biggest pantry I've had. Turning a coat closet into a pantry space is so smart!

Your pantry looks like heaven for pantry moths. Keep four, sugar and all grains and cereals in airtight containers. Moths are a real challenge if they get into your home. Otherwise it looks lovely. I’m inspired.
I have been doing much of this lately and picked up lots more ideas from your videoUse a lot of the clear bins and turntables. Use one of the turntables on my counter next to my stovetop for all those things I use while cooking-olive oil, salt, pepper, etc. so much easier to find things when it is organized.

Great job! I love any clear bins. Sam’s club even did a huge collection near Christmas for phenomenal price online. I also use the bins for craft shows so anything that I don’t use in the frig or pantry goes to the craft room. ❤

My pantry is a disaster. I do try to keep it organized. Then my husband gets inside and messes it all up. I don’t have too many containers to use. But I’m not sure it would do any good. I have the wire shelves, which I don’t like. Things will fall through. And then I have to hunt for it. My pantry is small. But it’s the first house I’ve had with a pantry. It’s just my husband, me and our dogs. Plus, I feed a lot of cats. They kind of came with our property. So I have a huge bag of cat food. And small bags of dog food. And I keep my air fryers and crock pot on the ground. I did buy air tight containers for my flour, sugar, wheat flour, and some smaller ones for a few other baking supplies. That’s the only part that stays organized.
I hear your pain with those wire shelves. I have a video on how to replace those if you have friends with power tools that can help. They are pretty easy to install.

WOW! Let me first say that I'm super jealous of your HUGE pantry! I have the tiniest closet that is a total mess. But, I'm so impressed with the organization that you did! Perhaps I can squeeze more room out of my tiny closet by implementing some of your organization bins and tips. Great video, and thanks for sharing!
I love this idea. These items would still be great for a smaller pantry or even a deep cabinet. I know I'm really blessed by this pantry. We've gone without a pantry before and had just the small closet type. I'm really blessed by this big one and now I'm really taking care of it.

Great video. Suggestion for you, I saw your light switch is tucked beside one of your containers, my husband installed a motion sensor type switch and that removes the need to turn on and off and also helps when the little ones go in to grab their snacks. Ty, you definitely gave me the motivation I need to tackle mine 😊

Whoa simple green is still available?
Alot of plastic yikes.
First off it's a best by date and can last many months to years past that if it's can goods. When it's chips and crackers they can Last about 1-2 months past sell by date. Don't waste food just because you think it's out of date. Do some research.
I appreciate the information. Some of these items were years old and needed to go.
