Hey, what a pantry, really nice!! I hope you do not mind a quick tip on the expiration date thing: those dates are guidelines put on by lawyers in the food industry, more of a "best used by" thing. That said, I'm not using dairy or very perishable products much past the expiration dates. But dry goods, canned goods, and such are all good for quite some time. REALLY!! Especially vacuum packed products and cans. it's easy to research this subject and determine for yourself, don't be scared of the dates. Thanks for the nice vid and great job! Love the containers.
Yeah...My grandmother had a contry grocery store for about 50 years...& each year she had to stay updated by what the Government requires...However, the Government also would tell her how that most items do not actually go bad...like canned/glass jar items!
Yes, they are "best by" dates...as long as the can is not rusty, leaking or bulging the stuff inside is still ok...the date is more in reference to the flavor and texture....I like the glass jar idea..we buy dry beans, rice, pasta, flour, sugar, etc in bulk...
Yea still trying to wrap my head around the fact that some people have a mini room dedicated to food storage, is it just an American thing coz I don’t have it (I’m from britain)

Beautiful! I can't organise when my family are around because I move things so many times before settling them in their final place. I just bought a load of glass jars from a charity shop, it was so so satisfying getting rid of all the packets and being able to see what you have.
To keep the brown sugar from getting hard, put a slice of white bread in the container. It looks weird BUT you will not waste your brown sugar. Believe it or not, the bread will not mold . . . IJS

I love to cook but i keep buying grocery and finding expired items so i am using some of your ideas i cook more natural but the ideas can be apply to many different items. You did great. The idea about the appliances is great
Hi, I hope for your health, those scoops are stainless steel cause otherwise you could get metal components(if made of alloys) to contaminate your food ....
You should make your own brown sugar. It's 8 cups of sugar and one cup of molasses or more for darker brown sugar. Put this in stand mixer and let it mix on low until completely mixed together. Store in airtight container.
Great video! I really liked the idea of the meal plan bins. There's nothing like assuming you have all the ingredients for a meal to find out in the midst of making it-you don't. Also liked the tea box idea to save space and have all your teas together.
That's the worst feeling, I hate when I think I have everything and I'm short one ingredient and it's WELP, pizza time! LOL! The tea box is such a space saver!
I understand the clumps in the brown sugar! I love the bins for meal planning and will pass that on to my daughter who meal plans. I wish my pantry was this large.
You need to WATCH Adam Ruins Everything , Adam Conover he explains how relevant expiration dates on foods. If you really like to go by expiration dates, use a sharpie, esp. on condiments in fridge.
This is an awesome video! A lot of inspiration for my fiancé and I’s future home! Something that might help is bulk stores to fill up without needing all the extra packaging and room while also helping the earth etc. :) again love this Chanel :)
Perfect video I needed right now. I'm moving to my dream house and I want an organized pantry. This video helped me a lot. Going to ikea tomorrow! Thank you
Your pantry reorganization is fabulous! Great job love the jars, scoops, galvanized containers, wire baskets & everything! I wanted to recommend a couple of things, though (my SIL just helped me reorganize MY pantry & recommended them to me): cut off the little info from the pkgs with expiration date & slip into the container with your rice, flour, sugars, pastas, etc. IF there is a recall OR you don't use it as fast as expected, you'll know! Label your jars so everyone will know what is in them. Add a "sugar bear" or a piece of bread in your brown sugar container to help it stay moist. Keep up the excellent work!!!
I am desperately needing a meal planning video. I did it for Christmas and was so surprised with how much I saved and knowing exactly what to get. Also, I eat out way too much. Looking forward to that video. -New Subscriber!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS VIDEO!!!!!! I have watched hours and hours of videos on organization for pantry and kitchen and FINALLY a video that isn't full of plastic and just plastic. My son became extremely ill from plastic and we have had to try to get rid of it as much as possible. Each video (even though many had good ideas), were loaded with just tons of plastic and tons of bright colors. I love the colors you did and the way you made it not just functional but really really pretty and nice to look at. It makes me feel more like cooking. Beautiful job on the pantry!!!! Thank you for making the video. I just subscribed and clicked the bell. Super excited to see more of your videos. :-)
Amazing job! Organization keeps me sane i swear lol,Might sound cray, cray but i literally know every inch of my home and were everything is located ha,hah.😁
Such a genius idea using those hanging baskets for bread!!! I am def stealing this idea!! I absolutely despise being the one to discover smashed up &/or moldy bread hiding behind or under things!
Mz Assad they’re preserved. Tinned food only goes bad after it’s open but can stay unopened for years because of the way they preserve it. Kind of like jam etc
Those scoops are so cute! I would be tempted to get them but then it's like you use measuring scoops anyway. But I love how when it comes to your home decor you're like "I like what I like and I got it" haha. Unapologetic! The bit about your husband's popcorn addiction and your shared cereal ("how romantic" 😂) was cute haha. Such a big roomy pantry. Love your meal plan baskets ideas- can't wait for a vid. That's a great idea for bread. Easily visible so you can glance and see. Love your vids! ❤️
I don't comment much on your videos but I do watch all of them. and I just bought my home bout 3 months ago and I definitely want to do this! only mine has wire shelfs. But I want to change the door to a screen porch door and put "General store" sign above it :)
This was the most satisfying video, most pantry organization videos are kind of disappointed for me because they aren't aesthetically pleasing for me in the end, but this one came out great!
Love the organization videos,it looks amazing, specially the meal plan basket,I like that idea, where did you get the scoops for the glass jar,I need some for my kids to not touch inside the cereal 🥣 😁😬
I've never kept my flour in the fridge and never had bugs. But I store it in air tight jars (like everything else bugs would like to eat) so no bugs can get in there and if there are some from the shop they can't leave the jar and contain other food
Davie Lawrence actually, I never had bugs in my flours, but I had bugs in like chicken taste soup powder (I don’t have a clue how to say it in English) and since then I store every powder product in the fridge
I love how large and spacious your pantry is.. you can put everything in there including some of your appliances. It’s pretty much a dream pantry!! 😍 I love all the jars and containers you use, it makes wanna but them all but my pantry is like a quarter size of yours!! 😂😂 You did a great job, the end result looks beautiful and very well organized!! 👌🏼👌🏼

You should make your own brown sugar. It's 8 cups of sugar and one cup of molasses or more for darker brown sugar. Put this in stand mixer and let it mix on low until completely mixed together. Store in airtight container.
Wow very cool thanks
Great tips!! Loved that you put the cans on their side so you can view them better!
I really like how you turned out your appliances shelf.
I recommend labeling the glass jars so u know what’s in it 😊
I understand the clumps in the brown sugar! I love the bins for meal planning and will pass that on to my daughter who meal plans. I wish my pantry was this large.
I LOVE this video! The organization makes me super happy 😂
Love the labeled baskets for your weekly meals. Such a great idea!
I’m seeing so many Texas brands! I LOVE LOVE heb!
I like watching you organize your pantry. It's so satisfying. ❤️
Someday, I will be able to organize my own pantry.
Reason to work harder.
so now that they're out of their boxes, you won't know anymore when they're gonna expire.
BAHAHHAHAHAHH YEAH I WAS THINKING THAT
Taste test. It's fine unless it tastes stale
And also.... when you through away the box, you throw away the cooking directions.
Good point but there’s an app called “pantry check” it will keep track of the inventory and your food expiration dates
Good idea, but too much trouble for me when it's already Printed on the box.
I bought those same pasta jars from the dollar store .They are really handy and look nice on display as well .
Thank you
Awww yay so glad it helped :)
This is the best pantry organization I've watched!! Love it. I'm also obsessed with organization. 💕
Awww thank you so much :)
Nomi Luv i love how you organize ! Definetly insoiredt
Lucky people you have very little items unlike Indian cooking every kitchen has a ton of different to store. 😴😴
Nomi Luv me too. Love organizing videos 💕
Me too
Thank you! I love the white baskets you labeled per day!! Never thought of that!! Going to arrange my pantry that way.
Ha! Imagine actually having a walk-In pantry
I am desperately needing a meal planning video. I did it for Christmas and was so surprised with how much I saved and knowing exactly what to get. Also, I eat out way too much. Looking forward to that video. -New Subscriber!
I don't know what those Scoops are made of but if they're metal they will change the taste of yours food items
I really loved how you did this & all the items you used to organize! You put me onto those glass jars!
Thank you so much, Ronda! That means so much to me!!! I am really happy you enjoyed it! :) Thank you for subscribing! Welcome to the family :)
Looks great! I keep bread in the fridge and I use the ferrero rocher candy boxes for tea storage. Use hand sanitizer to remover the label
Amazing job! Organization keeps me sane i swear lol,Might sound cray, cray but i literally know every inch of my home and were everything is located ha,hah.😁
Redoing our kitchen. And this is seriously the best pantry organizing on u tube
yess to a meal plan video please.. my family spends so much money on eating out breakfast lunch and dinner 😔😔lol
Trust me, I feel you. We spend way too much money going out to eat as well. I'm working on the meal planning video ;)
Such a genius idea using those hanging baskets for bread!!! I am def stealing this idea!! I absolutely despise being the one to discover smashed up &/or moldy bread hiding behind or under things!
👏🏼 For the Slam Duncan O's! Go Spurs Go!!
YESSSSS! GO SPURS GO!!!!
Dubnation! #goldenstatewarriors #bayarea
Oh girl, you can not get on a Spurs girl channel talking about the Warriors! LOL!
Yeah I’m curious to see how you use the white baskets for meal planning. It looks interesting.
hiya never seen one of ur videos before but i loved this one because i like how u are dead organized xx
The bins for the meal planning are brilliant!
the expiration date does'nt matter with dried or canned goods !!!
a big tip from a german food-technologist
How come
Mz Assad they’re preserved. Tinned food only goes bad after it’s open but can stay unopened for years because of the way they preserve it. Kind of like jam etc
Meal plan baskets are an amazing idea!!!! I definitely will be doing that.
No word of a lie I have been watching pantry videos all day and I am finally doing mine to your video
This is an amazing video. I love how you didnt start with a 5 minute intro of just you talking about your media platforms. I will be subscribing♡♡
You have no idea how excited I got when I saw the HEB labels- it's rare to see a fellow Texan on RUclips!
I don't comment much on your videos but I do watch all of them. and I just bought my home bout 3 months ago and I definitely want to do this! only mine has wire shelfs. But I want to change the door to a screen porch door and put "General store" sign above it :)
Well that is a great idea oooh and instead of general store u should write BRITTANI'S GOODIES
I am IN LOVE with your organization!!!😍 This is fabulous! And the meal planning idea is wonderful!:) Thank you for sharing!
This was the most satisfying video, most pantry organization videos are kind of disappointed for me because they aren't aesthetically pleasing for me in the end, but this one came out great!
Awww yay!!! That means a lot to me :) So glad you liked it!
Thank you for these GREAT tips and tricks. I am a first time homeowner and myself and the hubby WILL be putting some of this into play this weekend.
Yay! That's exciting! I would love to see, tag me on IG: @mylovelytexashome
Love the organization videos,it looks amazing, specially the meal plan basket,I like that idea, where did you get the scoops for the glass jar,I need some for my kids to not touch inside the cereal 🥣 😁😬
the handles looked like they said William Sonoma
Amazon has some :)
💕. The glass jars and scoops look so vintage. Great idea to lay your cans down to see the labels.
I recommend keeping your flour in the fridge, it grows bugs if you don’t lol. Unless it’s treated then you’re fine
Tubylubrx yeah I also recommend it.
Nevee had bugs in flour...
v Framlii google it
I love how large and spacious your pantry is.. you can put everything in there including some of your appliances. It’s pretty much a dream pantry!! 😍
I love all the jars and containers you use, it makes wanna but them all but my pantry is like a quarter size of yours!! 😂😂
You did a great job, the end result looks beautiful and very well organized!! 👌🏼👌🏼
Add a marshmallow in with your brown sugar. No clumps and keeps it fresh.
so cute. I love the galvanized bins. I wish I had seen this video before I organized my pantry!
VERY NICE.....LOVE THE MEAL PLAN IDEA!!
I’m so happy to have found your channel! I’m actually in Round Rock so it’s cool to see you’re close. I’ve become obsessed with organizing and watching deep cleaning videos lately. Thank you for a great video!
