@Quintin Burnett Like she said. We were feeling the music back in the day. And now the younger generation listens to the words. Thank you so much for this interview. It gave me the insight into myself that I had no words to. Erykah’s clear vision has shown me that it’s ok to seek yourself out in quiet times and that there are so many more levels to this experience.
I'm a 32 year old African-American Male. And my mother would bump Erykah, Prince, 112, Brian McKnight, etc. I grew up on ALL the Erykah Badu hits. I remember her musical performance on All That...w/ the incense. And as I got older I could appreciate the Window Seat videos of the world lol
I always knew Erykah was an Empath, clairvoyant and very intuitive...I'm the same and I can relate to everything she's saying...❤ I have been listening to her music for over two decades and I knew she was always telling what is and who we are and should be as a whole as well as individually...She's a great artist! ❤
I've always thought I'm the same as you and Erykah; an empath. It takes me a while to release and get back to myself, after talking to certain people about their issues because I absorb whatever it is that they are feeling. Also, the older I get, the more I'm able to pick on people's energy and see visions of things before they happen. For instance, my ex, who I fell out with 4 years ago andhave not had any contact with, out of the blue, texted me. Mind you, a few weeks before he reached out, his energy was heavy on me for no reason. So that was weird and yet, made sense to me at the same time. But yeah, Erykah oozes enlightenment. Even if she tried to hide it, it would come through
"We thank you for the people we compare ourselves to" I just love how she showed gratitude even for what we consider wrong or painful just as well as the good. Appreciate the duality of life. Down to the people we argue with. So powerful
You are now watching black excellence at its finest. This woman is a queen and an inspiration to a whole generation. I will always love her as an artist and a creative soul. ❤

This was the most grounding, beautiful, uplifting interview I’ve ever watched. I feel refreshed. I hope to see her soon in concert.
Badu is exactly who I imagine her to be in my mind. One of calmest, kindest and humblest souls we have in the industry.
Erykah..( in my youth) taught me to command your atmosphere and not be subject to it! She helped raise me in a way!
I love this. I need to carry this message to constantly remind myself.
Yessss❤
❤
This whole interview had me in tears … loved it so much … it was healing and therapeutic
Why were u crying…
I’m so glad to read this comment. I too cried, particularly when she spoke about being a Death Doula. She’s more than a presence, she’s an experience.
Same here brother power to our mothers
I had this experience too
Yo father like Her music 🎶 too?
90'S BABY STAND UPPPPP!!!! SAME
Pplpp
The interviews are always so much better when envy is actually interested in the guest, he and Charla was amazing!
32:54
If Charla didn’t always jump down Envy’s throat every time he try’s to chime in, Envy may have misre to contribute.
Coming across black excellence, in any arena, is the most beautiful thing! She definitely is black excellence!
She's more like black mystic.
More of a empress if you will but I get what u saying
Y’all see the vibe she automatically set in a room? She really sets the tone in whatever she does. I can feel that ish through RUclips. 1 of 1, Erykah Badu 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🔥🔥
Pisces ♓
😊pp😊p😊😊😊😊p😊
I feel in love with this woman when I was 8 years old In a hotel room in San Diego on vacation with my grandma, hearing her for the first time on a cassette player. Had next lifetime on repeat.
this comment 🥰
Your Granma is cool
I was 17 when Baduizm dropped and I rocked that tape until it popped 😂 I was living behind the times bc that was '97 and I should have moved on to CDS by then 😂. She has been my fave artist since she came out. No one else compares to her. She has everything!
I am 41 and lately I have become more spiritual can't explain why. I appreciate Badu's music more now than when I watched her on BET back in the day I get it.
Erykah Badu and Jennifer Lewis are two women that I enjoy listening to so much. I always take something with me every single time. Great interview, incredible energy as always.
Yessss! Erykah is my forever fave and Jenifer Lewis is always real, honest, and raw. If you haven't read her book, The Mother of Black Hollywood make sure you do!!
This was my favorite interview of the breakfast club! I would love to meet her one day because her InnerG is everything. I was feeling down but her spirit helped to uplift mine. Thank you 🙏🏾.
They call her a witch but she’s just unique, woke , intune and SPIRITUAL 🔮
That’s a witch ❤
@@ErinThePsychicWitch exactly. Not all ‘witches’ are ‘bad.’
@@neish9520 I agree . But a lot of people are still uneducated about this topic .
@@neish9520 Leviticus 19:31

@@KinuGoddess777 With all due respect our Ancestors weren't Christians. They had their own Spiritual belief system. It wasn't evil but the pale faces had to beat fear and religion into them. I respect what the Church did during the Civil Rights movement but we're slowly going back to the ways of the Ancestors. If you want to keep practicing Christianity that's fine but don't preach to us when it's not helping us change our condition ✌️
Notice how calm everyone is and the engery is 🌎. Love her to life ❤
This woman has been one of my top ideal women. She has always been authentically herself. I’ve heard I give ppl her vibes… grateful she’s spreading wisdom and knowledge to us all.
I loveee HER!! Her energy is everything. I've always loved her music thanks to my mom 😍
Erykah Badu is one of my go to when I need music for healing or to get me in a better mindset. feel good and inspiring, who has heard green eyes or out my mind just in time?

Thank you for writing the sound check of my life. Your words made me feel understood and your sound called me to take a journey into my own soul. I appreciate every part of you sis. I'm 40, you raised me too.
I absolutely adore this interview. She could have talked another 3 hours and I would have been invested. Hopefully, she returns soon.
I loved her music when she first came out. It was refreshing. I'm happy I haven't heard any of her music after her first album. I'm excited to rediscover her and her music. She is definitely one of the most interesting people to me.
I never leave a comment, but I had to for this. I resonated so much with this entire interview. She’s turning 52, I’m turning 25. Both Pisces and I just truly feel so similar and understood.
This was absolutely Amazing, I'm happy to See, Listen and Absorb this conversation. I will def be watched it again and again. Erykah always has the GEMS! 🙌
You don't know how much this interview means to me. South Texas Rocks! Been following all of you for years. Following Badu since college. I'm her same age from Texas. Beautiful wisdom and truth for our continuing journeys. Awesome😀🥰
I love her interviews, they are so enlightening. 💫She got a lot of spiritual energy you can feel it through the screen.
The amount of peace and love this interview holds, is a whole vibe ✨️ Happy early born day Ms. Badu 👑
Best Interview I’ve seen in a long time! It’s the mistakes becoming our greatest lessons in her prayer! The wisdom instilled in this woman 🙌🏾
Erykah instantly Relaxed me in this interview 🫠 She made me think of a person that was once in my life. How I miss him dearly. A one-of-a-kind person just like her. A ♓️ just like her. He had a healing spirit & healing hands just like Erykah as well. And funny we both had off-beat sense of humors too. Good memories. Made me 😃& 😆. Time to play some Erykah music now that she’s putting herself out there again
Y'all thank you , been awhile since someone finally asked the questions Ms Badu deserves. She is a Pisces like myself, I feel her from my zodiac and back. Her wisdom and music is something I am thankful for
I love her honesty and she's a whole vibe.
Can I just say how much I appreciate this woman's energy
Me too
OMG! This WHOLLEEE interview is a total VIBE and I am learning so much. Thank you for having Ms. Erykah come and grace your station. I would love to see more of her also
Great interview with Erykah Badu !! I am a Dallas native and I enjoy seeing her realness and how TBC guys are really focused on her "light" and beauty!! Blessings to Badu
Me living in Dallas,Texas now I pray I can see her and just have a 5 minute conversation with her. She’s full of so much knowledge and so inspiring
I've found Erykah Badu to be the most beautiful woman inside and out for almost 30 years now. Every time I see or hear her speak or sing I fall more in love with her whole being.
She dropped Baduizm in my birth year in 97’ and I remember my dad playin it throughout the house . Every year for my birthday I call up the black owned radio station and I request On & On because we are the same age. Welcome to the Breakfast Club Ms Badu !!
🥰 this interview was so refreshing you can feel her positive energy thru the screen
Watching that was like having a spiritual therapy session, so much to go research and unpack for my journey, thank you Erykah, thank you Charlemagne and Envy, good luck on that Aguwasca ceremony Charlemangne, I can't wait to do mine this year too. :)
Pisces season is phenomenal just as all seasons I love her eternally and she has the most powerful and gracious spirits of our generation period... baduizum hands down one of my favorite albums of all time
I can sit here and listen to her all day and soak up her wisdom, depth, and energy. ❤️❤️
“I’ve been waiting for them the grow up. So we can have something to talk about.” Love that! And how she detailed her affect on the generations.
Her energy radiates pure positivity, peace , calm strength, and growth. I think we all sort of want to find a few of those things and just be of service to others. Thank you for this amazing interview. may your higher power enlighten you all and keep you all blessed and highly favored ✨️ 🙏 🙌
I feel her energy and I am not even in that room with them. She is one of my favorite people in the world, simply because she is her, She is a true spirit, always of service. Channeling her energy. That is super Dope. Odes to the Queen!!
Cha n Envy were like puppies waiting for approval....Erika is the epitome of presence beyond our realm. In years gone by she would have been burned at the stake before being too intune with herself and her surroundings....love her ❤️🔥👊🏾
This interview is addicting. This is why everyone loves and can’t get enough of Pisces energy. So glad the universe is catching up to who we’ve always been ..tapped in, alert, sensual and smart 🙃♓️
Erykah Badu is so real and down to earth. I respect the fact that she speaks her mind and that she does not let anybody try to categorize her.
Wow. This is one of the most powerful interviews The Breakfast Club have ever done. Erykah is amazing ❤️❤️❤️❤️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️
Ms Badu is one of our national treasures. "She's one of one" her tone and sound is so unique. Didn't cha know is still in my rotation.
Yaaaasss!! I bump that at least once a week!
I love her realizam about life...her grandma story that you don't have to stay in that spot... You can move away.
Her calmness and her self-control vibe.
You rock girl..
If easy like Sunday morning was a person. Chill, smooth, humble yet bold and so peaceful. Damn
Met her in Dallas years ago and I promise her energy was exactly like it was in this interview. She's one of the most humble kindest people I've met. She TALKED to me like a normal human not like a star talking to a average man.
I feel so refreshed after watching this interview. She is definitely a breath of fresh air!!
She’s powerful because she is so comfortable in her skin and who she is. And learned how to protect her energy EARLY in life!!!!!!! We are learning it now later in adult hood
I LOVE THE RESPECT SHE DEMANDS WITHOUT SAYING IT AND SHE'S SO SMOOTH AND SOOTHING WITH HER VOICE AND WORDS SHE SPEAK. I LOVE THIS LADY !
The energy of this interview felt like it was in a room with low lights, lit candles and a bottle wine. I love it ❤️❤️❤️
This was a great interview!! When she first came on the scene I read an interview with her that suggested a book that inflienced me and led me on my path tonthis day. It is so amazing to hear that we share similar views on subjects now and it is a direct result of the path she helped guide me to! I love this woman!
