They could've found an unidentified land (pridelands) and called it Priderock, in doing so, they both got into an argument or the white lion was tracking down Mufasa and Scar missed his family so much (atleast one of them prob died) it clouded his mind and he deicded to kill him in revenge for being one of the main reasons his (Scar) family is dead. We never know
I don't think taka(scar) becomes evil because he was jealous, in the lion guard scar becomes evil when he gets bitten by a snake and gets influenced to kill Mufasa from a strange lion, but he resists the temptation and destroys the evil lion. But Mufasa just rewarded him by giving him a nickname, that is scar because of the scar he got from the snake bit, which caused him to get angry and try to kill his brother

I think the way im thinking is we see the future and whats happening now and the pressent. i think in the start with refiiki telling Timon and pumba and kiara how it all started with scar and muffasa life story. So its not going to be about Timon and pumba they are going to be in s few parts in the movie. I think why kiara is with timon and pumba is because could it be possible what happens down in the future that Simba dies from old age and so Timon and pumba are the ones to adopt kiara. So the start could refer to the future so at the moment we see the life of scar and muffasa as brothers. Maybe what happens that scars father wants him to be the king and mufasa s father also wants him to be king as well. So could it be that threatened thier friendship could be a part of their fathers. Is it possible that this movie will be different to the original and better. Could it be that scar doesn't want to be evil so he commands mufasa to be king could find his own father disowns him and wants him to be banish into the pridelands so thats why he and mufasa ends thier friendship. So then we see the birth of Simba and then we see scars evil father comes and gather s the hyenas and his agenda is for mufasa and Simba to die. Then the stampede comes and this time its not scar that kills mufasa its his father and then simba is found by Timon and pumba. Then after that simba comes back and becomes the loin king. So i think its timon and pumba that causes the death of scars father then the hyenas attack. In the end of the movie scar comes back and learns his brother had died. Then the old Simba died and crowns scar the next loin king and gives Timon and pumba to adopt kiara the end.
