FIRO-B - short introduction

FIRO-B is a profiling tool that will help you gain awareness about yourself and other people. It looks at three area of Inclusion, Control and Affection.
Devised by William Schutz in 1958 he introduced a theory of interpersonal relations he called Fundamental Interpersonal Relations Orientation (FIRO).
According to the theory three dimensions of interpersonal relations were deemed to be necessary and sufficient to explain most human interaction: Inclusion, Control and Affection. These dimensions have been used to assess group dynamics.

You're absolutely right Jojan. It's too big a subject to really cover in only a few minutes, that's why I called it a "short introduction to FIRO-B". It was to hopefully give people a taste of what it's about, so that they could dive deeper if interested...
