3 Aussie legends right there......Farnsey, Barnsey and Diesel
John and Jimmy have sung together quite a lot. Diesel (the guitarist) is an accomplished artist in his own right, but is also Jimmy's brother-in-law, and they have played together quite a lot also. I think you would like some of Jimmy's work with Cold Chisel also, as you get to see a little more range than this song truly represents. I would suggest Bow River by Cold Chisel from a live performance in 2003. That will also introduce you to the great Ian Moss!
Just to be annoyingly pedantic, genealogically brothers-in-law are related via one marriage. These guys are married to sisters, related by two marriages, so just friends 😆

Jimmy and John are Aussie legends 😊 John had a major cancer operation last year, but his son said on TV today that he's now cancer-free and singing at home again 😊 Diesel, the guitarist in this clip, is also an amazing singer-songwriter in his own right.

This was at the ARIA (Australian Recording Industry Association) Awards. The cream of the Aussie music industry were in the audience. John Farnham can sing in over 20 genres. He is a wonderful showman, too. I love the a capella singing at the very end. If you like it, too, then watch the clip on YT, 'Love's In Need,' in concert, with all of John's back-up singers and band. It is heartfeltingly beautiful !

Diesel is a song writing genius, in my opion and a excellent performer, with a bucket load of soul. His song, 15 feet of snow, live version, is a must to react to.

Such talent - great great singers and a great great lead guitarist and a great great arrangement. So enjoyable, and whenever I hear John Farnham soaring up to those big top notes I get tears in my eyes. He is one of the greatest modern singers of all time.
I get absolute CHILLS at that three part a capella harmony at the end. Diesel more than holds his own among esteemed company!

I love it when people react Jimmy and John. Could you please react to Jimmy Barnes Soothe Me with Sam Moore. Jimmy released Sooth Me last year justvafter his 66th birthday and his voice is still incredible and Sam Moore is 86 in this song and his voice amazing. Sam Moore is from the group Sam And Dave and I might be wrong but Sam and Dave sung and maybe wrote When Something is wrong with my Baby.
Yes, this is an old Same & Dave track as well. The original was good, but Jimmy and John really took it to a new place with the arrangement. It's their song now.
