    They look awesome, but handling these in person is completely different. You feel the craftsmanship and see the beauty up close. Pat is a great guy with some very sweet pieces in his collection. The cricket blew me away.

    I topically hate knives with a rectangle shape, that are very edgy and not curved but damn that f16 looks sexy :D beautiful blades and as always awesome video, looking forward to the next one

    All I can say is wow. Those are just amazing knives and the look and fit and finish is perfection. One question though, on the f16 there is acsmall hole under the pivot on both sides? Im guessing internal stop pin but why go all the way through? I dunno, after I noticed it, it just jumped out at me everytime I looke at the knife but it doesn't matter, those 2 knives are tits. Love the bolstered pocket clip, it ties the whole knife together and I wish more makers would do it on their bolstered knives. And that thick sub framelock is beast, looks great a its I never saw a sub linerlock before, seen framelocks but not liners. And thise gotta be some of the sexiest pivots I ever saw especially on the cricket. Once you explained what if is, my jaw dropped. Wouldn't have ever thought of doing that in a million years. Genius.

    Really love that cricket XL but every time I looked at it my eye kept being drawn to the back spacer hardware they just seemed missaligned and it kept throwing me off. It doesn't look like they follow the contour of the handle.

    No idea how you can call those tiny pinholes in the zirconium on the pocket clip intentional or stippling. It doesn't look remotely similar to any of the other stippling. Why would it just be very few holes placed very oddly, not even along the full length or to the edges of the pocket clip? Pretty shoddy looking clip unfortunately, the rest of the knife is absolutely gorgeous.

    • @JimSkeltonKnives
      @JimSkeltonKnives  10 лет назад +1

      LOL, yes because clearly, Rob doesn't have the skill to completely polish and smooth out Zirconium... oh wait... except for the massive slabs on either side of this knife that are perfectly smooth and mirror polished. Of course it was intentional. Do you really think he would bugger up that small part and not just replace it, had the mistake gone past the point of no return?

    • @Siang1
      @Siang1 10 лет назад +5

      Jim Skelton
      Obviously he has the skill, look at the rest of the knife, the stippling is absolutely gorgeous and actually looks like stippling and goes from edge to edge, top to bottom. Why would the pocket clip be stippled so poorly? Did he tell you that he intentionally stippled it like that? Its a tiny little splotch of pinholes that doesn't go top to bottom, is not even centered, does not reach the edges. Are you honestly saying that those pinholes look well done or intentional?

    • @asleepyinsomnia
      @asleepyinsomnia 10 лет назад

      ***** pretty sure he did that intentionally. and on a personal note, it looks amazing, and brings the whole knife together. its just you dont prefer things to look that way

      Siang1 I agree that that wasn’t intentional. It makes no sense at all in its placement.

    • @jamesp4896

      It looks pretty intentional to me..

      I feel bad for you that you don't know the difference between a scab and a callous & dry skin.

    • @res1492
      @res1492 10 лет назад

      i know the difference, i can tell its from opening knifes so much but put a fucking plaster on it before making a video, at 1080p its really gross

    Through the whole video your lips are constantly smacking and we can hear spit being sucked back in your mouth. I don't know if it's an over-sensitive mic or just a really bad habit, but it's very distracting from the content. Have you ever noticed it when editing?

    • @JimSkeltonKnives
      @JimSkeltonKnives  9 лет назад

      1) I don't edit. Every video is one take. 2) I addressed this in detail in my Frequently Asked Questions videos
