How much I like your videos, how much I like Crete! They are a real social mirror of the life and the situation nowadays. And again I must to tell very sadly, that EMPTY, EMPTY, EMPTY. And it is Stalis. Near of the sea plenty of empty tables. It is incredible. Can You imagine? 20 years ago we booked a Greek evening in Stalis the travel agency. And in the seven days they could give us ONLY one trip and only one free table, but we should to share with somebody else. In the greek evening from Stalis was around 300 tourists!!! 300. 6 buses! In the pedestrian road no people. Just some couples. It is really sad. And the restaurants are for 30% working.
Your spot on about Stalida the all inclusive hotels are killing ordinary foot tourists as they seldom venture out of their rooms i remember walking the streets shoulder to shoulder with other tourists not anymore.
I was in Stalis over 20 years ago and it was busy but still plenty of places to eat but now it's 3 times bigger like a lot of Greek resorts they are adding more and more restaurants car hire and not enough tourists going
