Thanks mate, yeah sadly traffic lights dont mean anything. The guy at 9.40 is the same car in the clip that followed it just further up the road

4:19 your fault here, the van was on the mini-roundabout well before you entered, so you should have waited. The van driver's only error was to drive across the central spot, when he could have driven around it.

Thanks for your comment David but at a roundabout you give way to the traffic to the right which as i was approaching from his right the van should have waited for me.

The van was already over the white line before you had even arrived at yours. The right of way law should not be taken as an absolute.

@@n19som Lets look at it a different way. Say the van had approached at 3 o'clock rather than 9 o'clock, would you have still entered the mini-round about, because the situation would be effectively the same, or would you give way even if the van was some distance from the mini-roundabout. According to your theory, had there been a steady stream of well-spaced traffic, you could be sitting at the junction for ages, as you have to give way to approaching traffic to your right.
If we look at the wording from the Government 'Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016' page 149, Diagram 1003.3 [Broken dashed line at the approach to a mini-roundabout].
"Vehicular traffic approaching a roundabout with a small central island or approaching a junction indicated by the marking shown in item 5 [broken dashed line on approach] of this sign table [mini-roundabout] should give way at, or immediately beyond, the line to traffic circulating on the carriageway of the roundabout."
So any vehicle that is already on the mini-roundabout (so effectively circulating), the approaching vehicle should give way. The broken dashed line means give way to vehicles already on the mini-roundabout.

@n19som you're fault. Give way to the right is only when the vehicle is at the give way or entered the roundabout, which you were meither.. The van had already entered the roundabout before you had arrived at it. He had right of way. Plus, your planning ahead was shocking. Purposefully did not slow due to believing you had right of way at a roundabout you had not even arrived at.

I bet most of these offenders are foreign/immigrant drivers. I drive for a living and whenever I have a problem I always look at the nationality of the driver and 95% of the time it is the aforementioned. Open door immigration has ruined tthis country. I have given up riding motorbikes after 26 years because I no longer feel safe.
