0:05 new too your channel, I myself am waiting for my bench rest build from Ken, I’m # 7 for this year. My build is almost exactly like yours except I went with the Bix n Andy trigger at 2 oz pull. I’m very happy to see your rifle and how nice it shoots. I been watching Ken channel for about a year and love his work. Thank you for your video and sharing your beautiful rifle with us.
Thats awesome!! Great shooting. As we learn from each other, action screw torque is valuable tool in the box for tuning. Infact influences more than a tuner. The pillars are slightly angled to give a tension effect. On the tripod joystick. Tension up the elevation adjustment. That will help a lot with the vertical. As I was told by SEB rest. It shouldn't move after a shot. I added more tension and it really helped alot
Hey Kenny thanks for stopping by. And thanks again for the superb job on my rifle. I will check the rest for movement and adjust. My next video will be on rim thickness consistancy and its effects on accuracy.
Random note on action screw torque, on ALL rifles: "best" torque will vary from wood to synthetic, to chassis stocks, also with or without pillar or bedding blocks, glass bedding etc.. all require different torque setting to achieve optimal accuracy. I've worked on dozens of rifles (centerfire and rimfire) over the last 4 decades and have made some amazing improvements in accuracy simply by experimenting like this :) glass bedding has ALWAYS helped, more on some guns, less on others IMO. I'd suggest using locktite (blue) on all action screws, especially if you are going as low as 20"#'s..
I will second everything you said and stress that each rifle, even of the same make and model, is an individual. In addition, while I'm not familiar with this action, the general rule of thumb on three screw actions is lighter torque on the center screw. In your particular case, I wouldn't touch it, as I think you've nailed it! Good shooting! Thanks for sharing, Rat
Outstanding performance! Great to see. Good comment on technique variables influence. So your rifles favorite action screws torque preference is 22.5 "/#'s. Good to know.
Wow, just found your channel, great work and some great guns!! You have a lot invested in your 22's, looking forward to following and learning more. What barrel make are you running on you're custom Desert Precision. Great channel!!
Congratulations, beautiful results, the weapon is incredible.

There you go that is how you do it torque is everything with a rimfire.Good job.🤔👍😀
Thanks 😊
Ammo is everything with rimfires, but torque is important in ALL firearms..
Great Stuff 💯💥💥💥💥💥💥💥

at a distance of how many meters?
@@imamsunaryo9651 52 yards
@@thegunslinger4570 Thank you sir
Impressive
Thanks Mike
What gun are you using?
Desert Precision Gunworks custom Bench Rest
All in harmonics. A lot less work using a barrel tuner
So you put the gun on a vise and just pull the trigger not shouldering it what hard about that
Again, another critic with no videos to show us his skills. I have a video of 100 yards with a 45/70 lever action if that's your thing.
