Oddly enough they got the old country studio musicians to do this album with them, and of course, quite a few said no do to the content. The band they put together and toured with was called The Shit Creek Boys
That's pretty cool! I can understand that some of them might not have liked the content, though.
I want to see you react to The Stallion (pt. 1-5). It spans three albums, but you can listen to the live versions of them all on the "All Request Live" album.
I think you would feel differently about other songs on the same album, particularly I’m Holding You or You Were The Fool

Many Ween songs have very obscene or even nonsense lyrics. Sometimes the music is even intentionally bad. The payoff usually comes in cool guitar or synth solo. This is also my least favorite Ween album, but its one of the few redeeming tracks off of the album in my eyes.

Yeah one of my favs is don’t laugh I love you, just a great vibe. They have SO many good covers & songs but it’s def an acquired taste.

It's not stupid it's one side of a fight between two people. Almost half the country songs out there about that. This ween song is not for you... but there's a Ween song for you. I honestly believe deep in soul that people that claim to love music and turn their nose up at Ween are Chalatans. That's why I know you'll end up liking them. I agree most new country is yuck. Ween fixed country in my opinion. Folk country is ok. You're right music is ice cream. Everyone has their own flavor. Give me a green light to give you some "better " Ween songs suggestions. 😂"Taint Ween" should be one of their slogans!
