Why did they have to reset the console at the right time to start?

kypdurron62 i think the the start screen doesnt stay for long and they have to hit start at the same time

There's a bug where if you sit on the title screen for too long the game's music won't play until you get to the first boss. So it's just habit for us to reset a bunch at the start. Also, you don't want to be the one who presses start right as the demo starts playing, causing you to just go back to the title screen while the other guys start their runs.

The stopwatch you get in level 1 is driven by a memory address. If you let the demo play, it has a chance to increment the value at that memory address, so instead of getting a stopwatch, you'll get a holy water. FailFish
