This was already my third trip to Salt Lake this year. And this little Delta hub with its brand-new terminal and half concourses is quickly becoming one of my favorites. The city itself is gorgeously framed by the dramatic rise of the Wasatch range. On the downwind, we run in and out of scattered snow showers before passing the airport and downtown. After a sharp 180 over the suburb of Daybreak, we descend over the warehouses of the West Valley before touching down, as smooth as silk, on the west runway.

14:17 - I almost thought for a minute that the pilots u-turned the aircraft too soon and that they were flying over the airport and would have to u-turn again, lol, but of course then realized it was a different airport
