Me and my family have talked about buying a big plot of land and having a family compound where everyone can build whatever they want. Well they're wishy-washy so I bought my own land to build on lol

Love the new property and excited to see all the new plans. The thicket down by the stream looks like Kudzu, like ivy, and it is almost impossible to get rid of. We have it everywhere in East TN and it dies down in winter and comes right back in spring lol. Blessings to y'all!
Thanks! We’re vegan though, so we won’t use a seeder for that purpose. We’ll have to see if we even end up needing it, because our hay guy will be caring for the fields for some time! So we are very lucky in that aspect. 🙂

Well water testing is fairly affordable. I know my area does Arsenic, Nitrates and Coliform Bacteria and its around $100 for the testing. For sure encourage having it tested just so you know

No house and just 20 acres could be anywhere from $80,000 to a couple million somewhere like California if I have a rough estimate. We aren’t going to tell you exactly what we paid, but North Carolina is a less expensive state.
