- A little late with this dorm tour! I've been traveling in Vietnam and Indonesia this summer, vlogs coming up soon! My camera didn't wanna focus like always and I'm pretty shaky, sorry about that.
This is a dorm tour of International House A, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies.
Just want to add an extra disclaimer since I say that I was surprised in a good way about how fresh the room was; all the room are different depending on how well the people before you treated the room!

terrific! Thank you next term i will be there too as an exchange student , this video and also the way you answer the questions below helped me alot!
Aww, thank you for liking it, happy that it helped
Hi,I’m planning on going to hufs and I wanted to know if interacting with korean students will be a problem if you don’t speak korean . I’d also like to know when they announce events to the students if it’s done in korean then English or mostly korean. I’m sorry for asking a lot buy my last question is regarding clubs.Do korean and international students mix in a particular club
Can you please send the link to the application form
Do students get assigned rooms according to their nationality?
hiii thank you for the nice dorm tour! I’m entering hufs for this fall semester as a regular student for 4 years, and i’ve been admitted in the dorms! But i have some questions and thought you could help :)
How can I know in which dorms i’ve been admitted? i only know that i’m admitted in the dorms.. Also, do the students have to bring their own quilt, pillow, bed sheets etc..?
thanks in avance for your answer :))
Hi! I’m applying as a regular for 2020 spring in a few days, do you know if there are high chances to get accepted?
Hi! I just found your video looking for info abt Hankuk university, you say that you're moving to a single room, it's complicated to get one? Thanks for sharing the info ❤
Hi!! I was wondering if you recommend House A or House B?? I'm applying for next semester :), I know House A is only for female students but is it better that way? and also do the houses get all full every semester?
Hi! I was wondering, which campus you applied to... I am a bit confused about the courses and everything, since I cant find a full list of courses in english :D I am applying for autumn this year...
Hey! So I plan to arrive at HUFS in August, and I'm really worried about luggage storage. Your place is so tiny! Can you share some insight?
Hey! I got to hufs too storage is easy, usually you can fit yoru suitcases all in eachother and can pop it beside a bed or inbetween a dresser, it's a bit of a hassle but not to bad ^_^
Did the dorm come with bed sheets, pillows, and blankets already?
id0nttry No we had to buy it ourselves, you only get the bed sheets!
hi was the bed double or single ?
Hey! I really enjoyed your video and since I want to study at HUFS this summer, I'd like to ask how long you were allowed to stay in the dorm? The website says it's only for 4 month, but do you know if it would be ok to stay there for a whole year? :)
I think the 4 months thing only applies to students who only want to study at Hufs for 1 semester :). I've read on some website for exchange students that if you violate the Hufs dorm rules you won't be allowed to stay there the next semester, so I guess that means it's possible to live at the dorm for more than 1 semester. But just in case you can really only stay there for 4 months, you can also stay at a goshiwon for the rest of the time, they're also relatively cheap. (btw I'm also gonna apply to Hufs for the next summer/fall semester lol 🐻)
Thank you for explaining! ~ Haha that's cool! We both gonna suffer from the summer heat then :D Are you doing korean studies too?
Animegirl96able I'm mostly gonna take business related courses but I might also take some courses from other faculties. 😆
And lol I hope the weather won't be too hot in August. 😥😂
Ah I see! So you will study at Seoul Campus too! Unfortunately the weather is the most hot and humid in August buuut we will make it through I guess :D Will be fun! ~
Your dorm was definitely smaller than ours, but ours was in hella bad conditions! Most of the furniture was broken lol
adrucast Hi! What dorm were you in?
Uhhh ....hi ^^ I wanted to ask you about the university laws ...I mean ..can you go out at night and the schedule ...is it too hard ...for humanities students .....and is it okay if you don't sleep at the dorm sometimes??! Sorry I asked too many questions ....ily I hope you can answer me ...thank you😍😍😍😍😍
Hey, sorry for answering so late! You can decide how your schedule will turn out depending on what courses you’ll take, some people were free 2 days a week and could thereby go out late more often. I did not have a curfew but I know that some people living in Globee dorm had it~ hope I answered your questions🤗
Hey there. Just a quick question about dorms. Are the different buildings based on what countries you are from and how well you are able to speak korean? I'm thinking of applying for fall 2019 so I just wanted to get some insight. Also, are the single rooms any bigger or expensive? I loved this video. Thank you so much for doing it :)
Also as an exchange student, I'm guessing you were already enrolled in a different uni in Sweden or is that just for students fresh out of high schools from different countries?❤❤
Hi! I'm trying to apply right now for Spring 2019 and you can actually look for the info on the University's web, here's the link about the dorms and it tells you the differences and prices: builder.hufs.ac.kr/user/indexSub.action?codyMenuSeq=7295784&siteId=international2&menuType=T&uId=6&sortChar=A&linkUrl=5_3.html&mainFrame=right
You need to have studied at least 1 semester at your home university and HUFS also needs to have a sisterhood with yours if you want the exchange for a semester. You have to ask your university about it. :)
Ana Cristina thank you soo much!!
hello! are there any shared facilities like gym or reading room at the international houses? :)
Oh hi! So sorry forgot to answer you earlier! No, there are no shared facilities in the international houses, I think Globee Dorm might have a lounge but I am not sure. The school has a gym with a limited amount of members. :)
Just found out that Globee Dorm has a gym as well!
ooooh thats cool! thank you so much! :)
Hi! I’m going to HUFS in fall 2018, but I’m afraid I can’t get a dorm room, is that even possible? Do you know someone who applied for the dorm and didn’t get it? Because I don’t know which standard they are following... thank you for your response 💕
Panda Blu hey! I’m applying for Fall 18 too! Is it okay if we exchange any social media acc? I’m trying to get i touch with other people going haha
Rebeca I have Instagram’s account, you can search elisasunnn
hi girls! i’m also going to hufs in fall 2018, will you be there as regular students? :)
Maëlle Hubert yep, I’m attending business courses, what about you?
Panda Blu same!
Is it Globee Dorm? =)
heyy! can you please tell me what was your gpa or percentage in high school ??? I am in high school so i just want an idea.... Hope u will replyyyy 💜💜 And i am new to your channel.. LOVED THE VIDEO 💜💜💜
+im an Hey! Thank you so much!
ahn okay thankyou for replying 💜 But what do you think what should be my maximum Gpa to get into this university ?
+im an I actually have no idea since I’m not a regular student at Hufs, but I can try and look it up, if I get the info, I’ll tell you:)
I'm gonna start studying in Fall18. Are There rooms for single people? I'm not a big friend of sharing my room. I do not mind sharing kitchen and bathroom.
Yes there are “single rooms” where you can live without a roommate in Dorm C. However there is not a lot of them so I would recommend you to contact them about your issue as fast as you are enrolled at Hufs since they are quite popular!
Hey! Are you still applying for Fall 18?
Is it hard to meet people with limited Korean?
Yes, It can be quite hard! But the Korean students at my university are really good at english so I luckily have many Korean friends that I've gotten to know during my time here:)
2:03 lipstick on!
Hello i want to study there next fall semester (international exchange) do you have an email or some contact method,I have a couple of questions and I will be so grateful if you can help me
I think the best way would be to visit the website of Hankuk University to find more information and the right email address depending on your questions, www.hufs.ac.kr/user/hufsenglish/
Good luck!😊
Hey! Are you still applying for the fall semester? I am too!!
Is this HUFS dorm at Seoul campus???
this isn't the Globee Dorm :) this one is off-campus (based on my research hehe)
Ummmm you should have more subscribers
