My advice is to stay focused and not get distracted by the next “great, money-making” product. Stay the course with your store and products. Otherwise, you end up with a store full of unrelated items.
You are the first person I’ve watched who has shared some of the most important financial details I need to develop a print-on-demand business plan. Thank you!
Great video! One thing I would add is that you don’t have to use a credit card, a debit card also works. Just for the people who might feel they need to apply to get a credit card to do this. 😊
Thanks for this - I am in the research phase at the moment, I am a graphic designer by trade so should be okay with that side of things, but it's just trying to figure out the best way to go to market which is the key thing.
THank you for a really genuine, simple to understand, informative video. This was really great to watch and listen to, and your information was basic but so necessary. Thanks again!
Thank you so much Mak for creating this incredibly informative video about Etsy! I am your new subscriber. As someone who has just opened their Etsy shop, I found your channel to be an invaluable resource. Your tips and advice for beginners like me are so clear and easy to follow. I really appreciate the time and effort you put into sharing your knowledge. It's channels like yours that make the Etsy journey less daunting for newcomers. Looking forward to watching more of your content. Thank you again!
Thank you for sharing your valuable Info content and being honest! Good idea starting your community sharing inside POD and valuable experience! Glad I found you while searching on RUclips! 😊
Great video! I'm thinking of just getting started but i have a few concerns on etsy. 1. Is it possible to link a website to an external site on etsy without getting banned? I'd like the option to scale beyond the platform on my own site and to just protect myself in case the store closes. 2. How do you figure out if a particular logo or word combination is trademarked? 3. Can you link multiple suppliers like printful and printify together 4. Is it better to have multiple stores with different niches or one for all
Thank you for the info! Also printify offers pop up shop. Of you start with them you don't have to pay for them to design. They take care of the shipping and product development and you just receive your profit. So you won't need a credit card...but I've been having trouble setting it up
What a great video! I love your take on marketplaces, so many “coaches” are against them, but honestly having to focus on marketing as well would make starting my shop so much harder….also if you’re ever out of video ideas, I’d love to hear how your business has changed your life!
New subscriber here! Saw you on the HelloCustom Q&A video and loved your input! :) so hope to learn more from you about Print on Demand to hopefully earn a bit on the side.
Love all your tips! Thank you for all the great info for beginners like me. Quick question, when you talk about design, can”t I use Canva for the designing tool? Since they have a lot of options to choose from all I have to do is piece it together. Or is there some kind of legality issue behind using Canva?
Hi! Thank you:) According to Canva, you may use their graphics and fonts as a part of a design but you cannot resell them just as they are! It gets a bit confusing sometimes but you can use them! Just check over the rights on their website to be sure you understand:)
What about nature related photos like lightning pictures reason why I ask is because im considering starting an online store of my own that sells photography related stuff
Can you put a clarity to the place you said that one will have to pay upfront prior to order or sales by using credit or debit card and you also said that no money will be deducted until orders are made. So how does this help process the order faster as against buyer having to pay for their orders and they take it up from there?
Thanks this is super helpful! (suggestion to you...stop the lip injections cause it is really distracting. you are gorgeous and the balance is off.... sorry i can't help but say this...i was a makeup artist w/ top photographers for many years and am also a portrait painter.)
Hi Mak, I'm setting up my Etsy shop and wondering if I should offer free shipping only in North America or go Worldwide? I'd like to offer free shipping but going Worldwide I'd have to charge for shipping? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
I've been using placeit for over 3months and they suck. Most of their mockups are for t-shirts and wall art. If you're doing home deco which included bathroom, there's nothing here. It's a wasted subscription. They only have about 6 shower curtain mockups. I made a request to include nursery items, they said they couldn't because there was not a large enough demand for it. Am I supposed to believe that everyone is doing sweatshirts and t-shirts? They also have mug mockups which is ok but boring to be truthful. The most times consuming thing with them is that their images are always blurry and I have to run them through another program for clarity. They are not worth the cost.
I read that if you use Etsy printify shipping rates are automatically applied to product listings, is this correct? If not how do we set the shipping price for all different countries?
Hi! I don’t accept returns due to the custom nature of POD products. My policies are very well shown on my stores I’m located in the USA so this is allowed so be sure to check local laws
‼️MAC‼️‼️‼️‼️I need to know how to properly size my designed images for PRINT ON DEMAND! I never end up with high resolution. It always ends up blurry and LR!! Please help me!!
You can but they wont sell because 1) they dont look good on clothes, unless you are goot at photoshop then you can make it look good 2) copyright issues 3) people usually buy something that has cool design or a good message such as quotes , so its hard to sell something that is just a picture printed on tshirt
See that’s why I don’t like the idea of e-commerce platforms! Everyone I talk to that have had thriving shops wish they hadn’t ever! If I take an order now I’m paid up front period!
My advice is to stay focused and not get distracted by the next “great, money-making” product. Stay the course with your store and products. Otherwise, you end up with a store full of unrelated items.
completely agree. Most of the successful print on demand shops try to keep their stores really focused on certain niches and types of products.
@@soon.tobemillionaireCan you suggest what type of nich is popular for POD?

One one take is to try to find not-yet oversaturated products. It really changed the game for me

Suggestion for you.
Don't offer your opinion on someone's looks/style who you don't know and hasn't asked your opinion.
Super down for an online community!

Wow, your guide is only 20$, not 500-5000k and you are not promising overnight success? You must be real then. Im not even joking...
What about selling things that have a taylor swift theme?
Nooo!! Copyright issue
Most of it is copyrighted but you can still do it without using any copyright elements
Thank you for sharing ❤
Does printify use organic cotton?
On some! If you click on the product and check the details they show all the info!
Can we use real life Photos to put on print on demand?
You can but they wont sell because
1) they dont look good on clothes, unless you are goot at photoshop then you can make it look good
2) copyright issues
3) people usually buy something that has cool design or a good message such as quotes , so its hard to sell something that is just a picture printed on tshirt
