Ningen Isu has been sometimes called 'Literary Metal' due to all the songs they have that have been inspired by stories, mainly by Japanese authors, but also several stories from HP Lovecraft like this song. I'm glad you enjoyed what I consider one of the top 5 performances I wish I could have seen live.
Hanabie are 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Hanabie are the freshest, most interesting and exciting thing to happen to J-Metal in 2021, they’re right up there with Nemophila for things that made 2021 bearable.

It’s great that you present this awesome musicians to the public. Thumbs up for that, they are all great bands, but in my humble opinion Band-Maid plays since this year (Unseen World) in a league of their own. Fantastic stuff they deliver.

Ningenisu now is legendary in Japanese music scene who're featured in the educational program.
Ofcourse lovebites is super teqniqucal girls, especially Miho , tiny lovely monster Haruna are source of this band.
Their Area of Tokyo is Kichijoji near famous Anime Jiburi's forest .
Band Maid is from Shimokitazawa area in Tokyo. When they played in 2015, audience were just 30people and sometimes I met them at Izakaya restaurant in Shibuya area.
Crystal Lake's drummer gaku taura is one of my musician's friends. He's top drummer of Tokyo music scnen and great producer , teacher of Hanabi-eh.
Finally Now I'm in love with Hanabie because they're too small compared to other 4bands. But their creativity is one and only contets that anyone in the world can't imitate.

Every Band Maid song is different and they are all great !
Their song "Different" is particularly different. I don't think that all their songs are great though. Especially their older songs are a bit more hit-and-miss in quality imo.

Lovebites does the best transitions of any band out there. A lot of the time, they're so quick and short that you don't even notice them the first time through. You have to listen to one of their songs 10-20 times to pick up all of the little details they throw in. This is writing and arranging at its best. No one does it better.

Asami is really growing into the role of a front woman for a metal band. She has really changed so much from the early days. She has poured her heart and soul into this band. You can really see the emotion and pasion she has and how she really lets go in this song as well as on Don't Bite the Dust and Raise Some Hell. This song was voted to be included on their "Best of.." album due out in December.

Passcode- "MANTRA". Japanese Girl Group, but this track hits harder than the original track.
TELECiDE- "Closed Minds" or "Cycle of Addiction". Short lived Metal-Core band only released 8 tracks. But rocking none the less, disbanded in 2018.

NINGEN ISU weird, not sure what to make of it.
CRYSTAL LAKE it's ok, it's Metal core, this type of music has been going for what 25 years, same old stuff, down tuned guitars guttural vocal, guttural/chug break down, and no guitar solo, nothing. 25years of this...will it ever stop.
BAND-MAID it's a typical band maid song, it's not bad, they don't resonate with me, not feeling it...
LOVEBITES, in one year, this band has become my 6th favorite band of all time, i love everything they do, if the next album is great, they will pass black sabbath and Led zeppelin, if album 5 is great the will go by Van Halen, Deep Purple and finally Grand Funk...all of these bands i have listened to for 45 to 50 years, and that is what i think of LOVEBITES.

I really liked Ningen Isu's song. I always love the really long songs because they usually tell a story and have a lot of interesting parts to them. Musically it sounded cool and the sound changed a lot throughout the song. It had a real creepy, spooky vibe to it. Crystal Lake and Hanabie I didn't care for. Band Maid is a good band, they just sound way too poppy for me to enjoy them. Lovebites is supreme!! Although they have a lot of songs I prefer over M.D.O. but this song does show the band's versatility to play different types of metal. That's my two cents.

The only reason I don't listen to Lovebites is their vocal melody. I'm just not into that kind of opera-ish style. Technique wise, everyone is a top tier.

I love Asami's voice, but I'm with you on the bass. Miho's always too low in the mix. Same with Kanami in Band-Maid.
Check out The Hammer of Wrath and especially Golden Destination. Miho's bass gets to shine in these songs.
I think Coldrain in Japan is also a good band. Please listen.
