The speed of Miyako's fingers on the piano keys was amazing. I've listened to this song many times and hadn't paid enough attention to her keyboard skills on this one. But she was phenomenal.

Since I know how bands on the undercard are treated (technical issues, gear issues, limited set, sound quality issues), we won't be making the trip to California.

Co-Leads Saki and Hazuki. Drop of Joker: The tragedy is that Miyako can't be in 10 bands at once. Chthonic: They are known for their political activism on behalf of freedom for Taiwan and other freedom movements around the world. Doris Yeh (bass) is also a model and frequent cover girl.
As you said Asami, draws on her R & B vocals for Empty Daydream. Miyako, also harmonises with Asami, on part of the vocal. It is not an exaggeration to say there are not many bands who can write and perform such brilliant dongs. How can Japanese lady's look so kawaii but produce such an aggressive sound? Hanabie, can certainly 'chalk that one up'. You said it well when you explained about the contrast of sound vision, sweet vocal and hard core mixed, somehow! It was a good spot with the Nemophila song, it does have a Marilyn Manson 'feel' to it. I believe the video was taken from a livestream, so there has been post production or backing used for Miyu, singing and screaming, at the same time. Drop Of Joker, aptly demonstrate just how well many young Japanese bands, can play and perform. A good training ground for Miyako. No wonder she makes her playing look effortless in Lovebites. What an amazing video from Cathonic. It must of been great fun to make. Good to see the woman not be the helpless victim. Definitely a comparison can be made with Cradle Of Filth, for sound and video. Thank you both for another Mega Bowl. @Marko L1977 From my understanding, in the UK, music is way down the list of options for state schools. It is not a compulsory exam subject. As you say, Japan is far better organised in musical education. When I went to school, to choose music as an exam subject, I had to give up sports.
Hanabie = Harajukucore = Happy 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Nemophila are stunning. They will be at Aftershock this year but I hope to god they do at least one or two other shows. Seems like a very big missed opportunity if they don’t, one that Band-Maid are embracing.

Hmm... 25:20 to me Nemophila sounds more like the bands that get more traction in America than in Europe, same happens with Band Maid. If you look at the latest trends and statistics on google you see the gap between B-M and Lovebites is very big in the US, but they are already on equal levels of searches in countries like Germany. On that song of a Drop of Joker... I don't like her old band's music. Miyako always feels underrated in those old bands, only in Lovebites she could exploit her talent. Cthonic...hmm I found them because they introduced Babymetal to Taiwan when BM was just starting, but they are really cool. This was a great bowl.

I really liked Miyako’s harmony background vocals coming through the right channel.
The longest backing vocals Miyako did is harmonizing Asami in almost-the-whole last section of Edge of the World in Battle in the East. And I love it!
