Nobody does it better, its a fact. The Wolfpack power cannot be denied. These girls are metal, all others are trying but nobody else is on this level of bad ass metal as they are. They are raising the bar so high that maybe 5% or even less metal bands (no matter the genre) can do. Its insane. They deserve to be big like Nightwish for example or even bigger. Inspire, one of my favorite LB songs. Inspire is off their first album Awakening from abyss. Inspire is even better, in their studio, live. Dang, I always at work for J metal bowls. Nice having you back with Lovebites. Edge of the world is incredible composition, another favorite. Epilogue is an incredible song. Hm, I have never got Footloose or flash dance from Dystopian, hm 🥴😲 yes that’s the album cover of clockwork. Great Bowl, great bowl, and Nemophila before, nice 😻🤘 Miyako grew up listening too Deep Purple, Gary Moore, so she channels a lot of Ritchie Blackmore, Gary Moore. "Battle in the East" is a great live show. It has minimal production, but the crowd is hot and the energy from the ladies is through the roof. Everyone is on point and sounds great. Plus it's kind of fun to see brunette Midori. I love "Clockwork Immortality." There are days where my wife and I will put on a LOVEBITES album or EP or live show and let it play all the way through, and CI gets played more than the others. I think it has my wife's favorite LB songs on it. Ci has my favorite artwork of theirs, too. It's always a good time when Midori and Miyako go side by side. They're such high level musicians with incredible chemistry. Their fist bump always makes me smile, too. I love the ramp that Zepp DiverCity has. OOOH YEAH!!! SGBC for the W I N !!! I’m glad everyone liked those choices!! It’s really hard to pick a “best” Lovebites song. I liked Inspire a lot, and was disappointed when it didn’t make it to the “In The Beginning” list. That song wasn’t written by the usual suspects in the band, but IIRC Asami wrote the lyrics. What I liked about it was how each instrument was given a moment to shine in a fill, Asami had her moment too, and the lyrics are certainly inspirational! Dystopian Symphony, is it just me or is that Brahms I hear? That song is just a freaking romp of talent from one end to the other!! It’s one I wish they would do a MV of! I’d like to see what they come up with! Mastermind 01- is so different like Burden of Time that it deserved a place in “In the Beginning” as well but didn’t get one. The lyrics point to either AI or FB taking over our free will. It’s a bit different too since it doesn’t have the traditional LB guitar dual guitar solo. Edge of the World is epic. Someone called it their Magna Opus, and it certainly is- so many tempo changes, and such powerful lyrics. The album version is slightly different because it opens with guitar, then switches to piano background. Haha.. what you might not have noticed is that We The United was the next song in the set, and blended in very well. “Prideful we stand united!” !! YES- THEY ARE LOVEBITES AND THEY PLAY H E A V Y M E T A L !!!!!!
Every time someone mentions that the band is going to lose its more grassroots feeling now that we have lost Miho's vision, they should go and listen Mastermind 01. Like if Miyako does not know how to write this kind of music too xD And hell, she is so good at it too. That was a very good selection of tracks, very well placed too.

Yeah guys they are really amazing. I've been with them twice in Wacken Germany 2018th and UK 2019 year. It's something different something memorable. Hope they comeback soon and continue their touring, and hopefully they come around you guys to have chance to see them live. I'm waiting for them to come back to Europe again and this time I'll go with them no matter which country they gonna play. Not gonna miss any concert. Mastermind01 is a great song. It's strange hardly anyone talks about it. In my opinion it's the same type of song (catchy up-beat simple) as No Time To Hesitate which is another rare song. I think Mastermind01 was played only once by them.
I have all the concerts that were released on DVD. Maybe they played it on a tour that wasn’t recorded. I totally dig the lyrics in that song. TO me, it’s like the bots that pick what we “like” online are what’s controlling us- humanity damned by their own images. It could also be that there are demons that speak to all of us in our minds, pretending to be our own thoughts. And many will say they are also the most talented too. This mega-bowl shows how diverse Asami is with her vocals. She changes the tone and style in almost every song. It is amazing what she can do. Her voice sounds so angelic on "Edge of the World". What a masterpiece of a song.

Dystopia Symphony was written by Miyako, and is her tribute to Beethoven. She wrote it in the style of a symphony with an opening, three movements, and a coda (ending). The first and third movement have so many elements of the third movement of Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata." Beethoven often wrote the 2nd movement of his compositions in a very dissonant style, and Miyako did the same thing here with those massive guitar solos. And the ending was straight out of classical music. I'm convinced that if Beethoven were alive today, he would be writing metal. Since he's not alive, we have Miyako instead. It took someone with a perfect understanding of music to write this song. Is Miyako the modern version of Beethoven?? Just saying....

Mastermind 01 is the F bomb! Safe to say the metal community has been put on notice, there is a new measuring stick for metal, that is LOVEBITES! No disrespect to all the greats of the 80s but the torch has been passed. No one does it better than Midori & Miyako. IMHO.
What's nuts is that "Edge" and "United" were the last two songs of an almost 2-hour set, and they just turned on the afterburners. They say they play heavy metal, but they are made of something harder than any metal.
If someone is watching this who has not seen Lovebites previously, what a way to demonstrate the range of styles they write and play. Believe it or not, there is still some Lovebites material for you to witness. Glad you had a few tracks away from the usual Lovebites songs that get reacted to. Although Nemophila are fantastic, they still rate less than Lovebites for me. I would not want to see them tour together. Lovebites could bring one of the many lesser known Japanese bands with them as they are under a record label. Even Nemophila have only their first album to promote and I believe independent, they have proved they can play excellent covers so could make a great show plus have local support bands.
Sorry I missed this! Glory, Glory to the World has some of the most proggy thrash I have ever heard from any band PERIOD! Dystopia Symphony is song #4 on that EP but you should check out the song #3 PARANOIA from that EP it is mind blowing! Peace SGBC!!!
Dystopia Symphony is an absolute masterpiece. As the last song on Glory, Glory to the World (Wings of Transylvania follows it on some editions but was written first), it showed to me a real statement of intent - "You think we've been good so far? Listen to this and see where we're going next!". Unfortunately, Miho went and left so we won't know where the five would have taken it, but when they come back with a new bassist I have a feeling they're going to branch out even further. They've done music in the styles of classic hard rock, as well as Iron Maiden, Metallica, Helloween, Judas Priest, Slayer and now Dream Theater... there's really no limit to what this band can achieve and I can't wait to hear it all.
Great to hear and see you guys--Totally identify-as a 60's and 70's gut {and beyond} used to listen to Hendrix-Zeppelin-Who Cream and everyone else {and was graced to have seen them all.} till the albums had grooves and scratches in them. I've listened to many groups since in the 80's etc. but none THIS much till Lovebites-they aren't Hendrix-Cream etc. but the musicianship, individual talent and tighter than tight grooves are as good as anybody I've seen--thats saying a lot for me being so spoiled by the number of great groups back then. "Battle in the East" is a great live show. It has minimal production, but the crowd is hot and the energy from the ladies is through the roof. Everyone is on point and sounds great. Plus it's kind of fun to see brunette Midori.
I love "Clockwork Immortality." There are days where my wife and I will put on a LOVEBITES album or EP or live show and let it play all the way through, and CI gets played more than the others. I think it has my wife's favorite LB songs on it. Ci has my favorite artwork of theirs, too.
It's always a good time when Midori and Miyako go side by side. They're such high level musicians with incredible chemistry. Their fist bump always makes me smile, too. I love the ramp that Zepp DiverCity has.

In the video of Wacken and Battle in the East, earlier live concerts, they had a different air from recent well planed performance IMO.

OOOH YEAH!!! SGBC for the W I N !!! I’m glad everyone liked those choices!! It’s really hard to pick a “best” Lovebites song. I liked Inspire a lot, and was disappointed when it didn’t make it to the “In The Beginning” list. That song wasn’t written by the usual suspects in the band, but IIRC Asami wrote the lyrics. What I liked about it was how each instrument was given a moment to shine in a fill, Asami had her moment too, and the lyrics are certainly inspirational! Dystopian Symphony, is it just me or is that Brahms I hear? That song is just a freaking romp of talent from one end to the other!! It’s one I wish they would do a MV of! I’d like to see what they come up with! Mastermind 01- is so different like Burden of Time that it deserved a place in “In the Beginning” as well but didn’t get one. The lyrics point to either AI or FB taking over our free will. It’s a bit different too since it doesn’t have the traditional LB guitar dual guitar solo. Edge of the World is epic. Someone called it their Magna Opus, and it certainly is- so many tempo changes, and such powerful lyrics. The album version is slightly different because it opens with guitar, then switches to piano background. Haha.. what you might not have noticed is that We The United was the next song in the set, and blended in very well. “Prideful we stand united!” !! YES- THEY ARE LOVEBITES AND THEY PLAY H E A V Y M E T A L !!!!!!

Every time someone mentions that the band is going to lose its more grassroots feeling now that we have lost Miho's vision, they should go and listen Mastermind 01. Like if Miyako does not know how to write this kind of music too xD And hell, she is so good at it too.

Yeah guys they are really amazing. I've been with them twice in Wacken Germany 2018th and UK 2019 year. It's something different something memorable. Hope they comeback soon and continue their touring, and hopefully they come around you guys to have chance to see them live. I'm waiting for them to come back to Europe again and this time I'll go with them no matter which country they gonna play. Not gonna miss any concert. Mastermind01 is a great song. It's strange hardly anyone talks about it. In my opinion it's the same type of song (catchy up-beat simple) as No Time To Hesitate which is another rare song. I think Mastermind01 was played only once by them.
I have all the concerts that were released on DVD. Maybe they played it on a tour that wasn’t recorded. I totally dig the lyrics in that song. TO me, it’s like the bots that pick what we “like” online are what’s controlling us- humanity damned by their own images. It could also be that there are demons that speak to all of us in our minds, pretending to be our own thoughts. Either that or the MSM.. let’s go with that, it’s popular, and takes less thought or some people wouldn’t be able to wrap their heads around it-- 😂

I love all these bands man, but Lovebites hits me different!! That's why they are my favorites! A big part of that is the song writing, it's fkn excellent.
From a slow piano ballad or brutal thrash metal, doesn't matter, it's always killer stuff!!

I honestly don’t know if it was AI or FB she wrote this about, but it’s always been one of my favorites and a MAJOR disappointment that it didn’t show up on the “In the Beginning” which was basically a collection of YT hits IMO.

Almost made it feel like we were watching a live concert together. So awesome. Lovebites is the happiest heavy metal band on the planet. They are also the best looking heavy metal band on the planet. And many will say they are also the most talented too. This mega-bowl shows how diverse Asami is with her vocals. She changes the tone and style in almost every song. It is amazing what she can do. Her voice sounds so angelic on "Edge of the World". What a masterpiece of a song.
Always enjoy your reaction with attention to subtle musical notes by our favourite band. Like you have said, you will never know how the song will go on first listening. Dystopia Symphony was written by Miyako, and is her tribute to Beethoven. She wrote it in the style of a symphony with an opening, three movements, and a coda (ending). The first and third movement have so many elements of the third movement of Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata." Beethoven often wrote the 2nd movement of his compositions in a very dissonant style, and Miyako did the same thing here with those massive guitar solos. And the ending was straight out of classical music. I'm convinced that if Beethoven were alive today, he would be writing metal. Since he's not alive, we have Miyako instead. It took someone with a perfect understanding of music to write this song. Is Miyako the modern version of Beethoven?? Just saying....

Mastermind 01 is the F bomb! Safe to say the metal community has been put on notice, there is a new measuring stick for metal, that is LOVEBITES! No disrespect to all the greats of the 80s but the torch has been passed. No one does it better than Midori & Miyako. IMHO.

What's nuts is that "Edge" and "United" were the last two songs of an almost 2-hour set, and they just turned on the afterburners. They say they play heavy metal, but they are made of something harder than any metal.
If someone is watching this who has not seen Lovebites previously, what a way to demonstrate the range of styles they write and play. Believe it or not, there is still some Lovebites material for you to witness. Glad you had a few tracks away from the usual Lovebites songs that get reacted to.
Although Nemophila are fantastic, they still rate less than Lovebites for me. I would not want to see them tour together. Lovebites could bring one of the many lesser known Japanese bands with them as they are under a record label. Even Nemophila have only their first album to promote and I believe independent, they have proved they can play excellent covers so could make a great show plus have local support bands.

Sorry I missed this! Glory, Glory to the World has some of the most proggy thrash I have ever heard from any band PERIOD! Dystopia Symphony is song #4 on that EP but you should check out the song #3 PARANOIA from that EP it is mind blowing! Peace SGBC!!!

Dystopia Symphony is an absolute masterpiece. As the last song on Glory, Glory to the World (Wings of Transylvania follows it on some editions but was written first), it showed to me a real statement of intent - "You think we've been good so far? Listen to this and see where we're going next!". Unfortunately, Miho went and left so we won't know where the five would have taken it, but when they come back with a new bassist I have a feeling they're going to branch out even further. They've done music in the styles of classic hard rock, as well as Iron Maiden, Metallica, Helloween, Judas Priest, Slayer and now Dream Theater... there's really no limit to what this band can achieve and I can't wait to hear it all.
Great to hear and see you guys--Totally identify-as a 60's and 70's gut {and beyond} used to listen to Hendrix-Zeppelin-Who Cream and everyone else {and was graced to have seen them all.} till the albums had grooves and scratches in them. I've listened to many groups since in the 80's etc. but none THIS much till Lovebites-they aren't Hendrix-Cream etc. but the musicianship, individual talent and tighter than tight grooves are as good as anybody I've seen--thats saying a lot for me being so spoiled by the number of great groups back then. Thnx for your comments and enthusiasm about them-its all right on the money.

How can you not love this band? Even if metal isn't your genre of choice you still gotta appreciate and respect the talent this band has. I haven't heard a bad song yet from LoveBites. You guys are the second reactors who has done Mastermind 01, the other song that has not been done is The Final Collison, everything else has been done live. Now tell me the truth does Lovebites only sound good live, I say no they don't! many are still claiming that they are better live simply because it is a visual thing and have forgotten what it means to listen, not just hear but listen to the songs.
