Thank you for all your hard work. I purchased several of your templates off of your web-site and they are wonderful. I also purchased all of your bead rollers off of Amazon. You make the best rollers of any others that I have purchased. I have watched all of your videos and have make a lot of your protects. You are a wonderful teacher and I just enjoy watching and listening to you. Please keep making more videos. I love you and all that you do.
Wonderful information. I thought I might add something I learned a few years ago. I can’t remember where I read it. An easy way to gauge how wide to make your strip(s) when designing a round bead is to first roll a tube bead with the same paper, same number of strips you want to use, and the same roller. The diameter of the resulting tube bead should correspond to the width of the strip you need to make a round bead. Of course this method uses all full length strips, layered and rolled together, rather than your method with graduated strips. Your rolled bead is much neater. But once a nice thick glaze is added (I use embossing powder), the finished bead is pretty and round.
Thanks for the tutorial. I do find the mixture of measurements confusing though. You are making beads that are so many millimetres in size, then measure all the strips in fractions of inches. I would find it easier if it was all in mm
This is because ALL beads are measured using mm as the size. And she is American and is using the American measurement system for length and width of the paper used to make the actual bead, which when the paper stops being a length/width and becomes an actual BEAD, the bead is measured in mm because ALL beads are measured in mm. I hope this made enough sense to actually help you understand the difference in using the fractions and the mm, as opposed to using all fractions or all mm.
You can use toothpicks or skewers to roll. It's more difficult and the beads are harder to line up properly, but it will work. A lot of people start out that way and buy rollers after they've decised to stick with the craft.
Wonderful ! Not toooo crazy about how much the ridges show, tho...I guess because of using fairly heavy paper... cardstock... do you have any directions for round beads, of any/variety of sized, made from much lighter weight paper ? Like typing paper weight, or even lighter weight ?
Please can you help me to put the measerments that you use to do it in cm I am from the Netherlands can somebody help me please I am a older woman and I don’t understand
well.. thank you but i dont use card stock paper i use all kinds of paper when i do round beads i just use 3 strips of 1/2 at top and 0 at tip works for me on almost any paper but card stock..... now i can use the card stock !! thank you!!

Bonsoir je regarde votre vidéo vous prenez quoi pour faire les perles ronde vous faite des bande de papier de combien vous pouvez me le traduire en français bonne soirée à vous
You could absolutely use one long strip if you have paper that long. The 65lb most readily available to me is 12×12 at the largest. Also, I cut with a machine that is set for 12x12, although I can buy an extender for it.
Can you explain why you’re using measurements of 6/16, 4/16, 5 6/16, 4/16, & 5 7/8 instead of the proper measurements of 3/8, 1/4, 5 3/8, 1/4 & 5 7/8 respectively? It makes your measurements confusing when having to stop and reduce your fractions
I designed these based on the end shape of the bead, and the measurements don't exactly line up to the marks on the ruler. If you are reducing the fractions you are probably getting less accurate shapes. You may have to adjust a bit as you go. It would have been great if the measurements actually were 3/8, 1/4, 5 3/8, 1/4 & 5 7/8 respectively. It would have make filming the video a lot easier! That may not make sense to you, but I filmed this in the way that I thought would be best.
Ok, thank you for your explanation. I was just wondering as it’s not so much as reducing a fraction as you would do in a math problem, than if you literally count four, 1/16” marks on a ruler, you will indeed be directly on the 1/4” mark, so I was just wondering. Thank you. BTW, I do sincerely hope you are feeling better and making great strides towards a full recovery ❤️❤️ I do like your videos and your beads are beautiful 😍

Nice tip! Thanks!
Excellent tutorial thank you
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the tutorial!😘
It helps me so much
Thank you for the tutorials to this project it help me from doing it 😊
Love your videos what is the size of your strips
como se chama o instrumento que você usa ? e onde posso comprar?
Yeah that's cool that's our project 👍
Could you write the measurements in centimeters? It's a bit difficult for me to do the conversion. Thank you so much.
very very cool, thank you!
Glad you liked it!
Thank you! I know how much work went into designing these and making the template files. Much appreciated!
Thank you!!!!!

Wowwwwww super tq for sharing your project 😊😊
Thank you so much 🙂
what could be a good alternative to the bead roller?

Great tutorial - I like how you show the sizes needed next to the strips :)
Thanks Lesley!
Thank you for this imfo very helpful
You are welcome! Thanks for watching!
How do I make my beads heavy for a beaded curtain?
What do you mean by heavy?
Pretty blue and lavender paper beads.
Thanks Donna!

I don't get, but I'll your suggestion to my list!

Very nice
Very useful
I wonder if sanding them into shape would be easier so you could just crank out a bunch of them really quick?
It's worth a try!

Ciao Rosa! Puoi ottenere lo strumento su paperbeadrollers.com. Ho usato Google per tradurre questo, spero che sia corretto.
Olá. Pode medir?! Não percebo esses números de medição. Obrigada. Tanks?!.... Bjsss de Portugal.

Thanks a lot
I am from the Netherlands we use centimeter
Potresti mettere le misure in cm grazie

Is there any reason why you don’t use one long length of strip paper instead of 2,3,and 4 Pieces 🤨
