I think (and hope) it is going be the classic Goblin. We saw the prototypes for the suit's helmet and his pumpkin bombs in the first game. Can't remember if we saw a prototype for his glider, but all signs point to a classic/Raimi-type Green Goblin for Spider-Man 3
If we get an mix of William's Defoe goblin and some modern tech suit, it would be dope to see.
I think first he will be a classic Goblin with slyder and then became a mutant
Even better, have him with armored suit like a combination of William Dafoe's and Iron Man. Have an in-universe explanation that Oscorp stole Stark Industries' designs.

When Norman asks Octavius "what are you writing" and Octavius says "the final chapter" I can't help but think that the devs did that as a way to tell us Spider Man 3 is indeed a thing and it's the last game of the series. I can't wait for more info!

I played spiderman 1 this summer (without any previous knowledge about the plot) and from the moment i saw dr. octavius i knew he was gradually going to become the octopus and probably be the final boss, and yupp, i was right, but my point here is that the game was so well done, that even though we all knew how everything would go, at least I really grew to like dr. octavio, how he was a paternal figure to Pete and when pete defeated him and they had their last speech i felt very very sad and was surprised to be affected like that by the game's plot. Which is great because it speaks of the great work they did =)

Tobey Maguire's Peter got Norman Osborn killed and Harry wanted revenge, Insomniac's Peter ruined Harry and now he's in a coma, Norman wants revenge. Love how they're doing the reverse of the Raimi movies.
Yeah, it does feel kind of similar, which is one thing I hate about the Osborne’s. They don’t know when to stay and remain as allies and acquaintance of Spider-Man and the longer because they’re always gonna be his primary weaknesses of choice. If Eddie Brock was in this game, maybe Harry’s fate with venom would’ve been avoided. because all I know this wasn’t his destiny but his mistake of error.

Otto is not quite right. Even before what happened to Harry, Norman lost his wife and every single day was haunted by Harry sharing his mother's fate (the first Otto could know, the second maybe not, until much later). Living like this for years is not a living at all, just prolonging your existence until your beloved son will have a normal life, now all ruined, in his mind thanks to Spider-Man.
For Norman Peter is a family too, like a son (as he admitted). But when he finally finds out that Pete is Spider-Man...
I hope Pete can better explain himself when it happens. I hope Norman somehow gives his life up to protect Harry.
I really don't think this Norman is that bad but it would really be a nice sendoff for Norman him doing something for his son and not himself.
As for Octavius I hope he dies. I have no remorse for what he did to Peter.

I hope Steve Blum voices the Green Goblin in the next game. Yuri Lowenthal's Spider-Man matches perfectly with Steve Blum's Green Goblin, as proven in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 & Marvel Future Revolution.
I mean, steve blum is an iconic guy to voice the Goblin.
But i honestly we should give Mark Rolston a chance, becuase he IS a good actor.
I think he has the potential to surprise us with HIS green goblin potrayal.

At its base I understand that the writers were going towards Norman having hate for Spider-Man thus creating the green goblin angle. However I’m confused why Osborn was that mad at the end? Yes his sons state isn’t good. But connors told Osborn and spider that he can’t be saved and that he was fully fused and would have to die. Osborn tells spider not to kill harry and to please save him from venom. At the end not only does he separate and kill venom but also leaves harry alive and breathing. He went above and beyond what connors was saying was possible and did exactly what Norman asked for. For his son to be saved and not killed. Why was he that mad? Dude should be thanking him. He saw Spider-Man’s body beaten to an inch of his life and couldn’t stand without the help of miles. Can’t bro see the hell he went through to keep his son breathing. I get maybe he’s irrational but they should’ve had a more reasonable hate like how harry saw Tobeys Spider-Man leave Osborn dead without explanation.
You’re talking about a narcissistic, Machiavellian megalomaniac in Norman Osborn, and that’s before he takes the G- Serum. Any consequence that not in Norman’s favor, he would blame others in a heartbeat instead of himself even though for both Spider-Man 1 and 2, he’s been indirectly responsible for unleashing the Devils Breath outbreak and Venom in the city.
I can see Otto tormenting Osborn about that when he finds out saying that he is responsible for his own son’s condition cause I think he still cares for Peter and he might be like his movie version

Ultimately, Norman is a selfish person, and he can't change. In fact he's a perfect contrast to Uncle Ben and Aunt May who see hope and good in everything. Norman, on the other hand, sees the bad in everything and gives in to despair. He wanted Harry back in perfect shape and won't settle for anything less. Never mind the fact that Harry is alive, his disease is seemingly cured and he's beaten the odds before so there's hope he can come back
There’s no explanation to this, the writers fucked up. Harry should of died and this would have gave Norman a reason to be mad.

And as for Keith Szarabajka while he did voice venom in web of shadows and despite transformer dark of the moon not being that great of a movie I will say laserbeak voiced by Keith Szarabajka was pretty scary and intimidating
I bring this up because I wanted Mysterio to be voiced by David Kaye and they got someone else like insomniac always throws a curveball and I’m just wondering how do they give goblin a cackling voice without the alternate personality thing like does the G serum drives him insane like the neural interface did the same to Otto in the first game or does he have a mask that changes his voice (personally I’d go with option A considering Norman has been pretty much pushed over the edge losing his wife and nearly losing his son)

My story for Norman is that (My story is a bit bad)
Norman uses the cure for Harry to test it which gives him his strength, but it takes over his mind like the symbiote and becomes Green Goblin. He makes himself a suit and goes to Otto to threaten him to tell him whos Spider-Man or he’ll kill him. Otto tells him its Peter Parker, he is in shock when he said who Spider-Man is. But realizes it makes sense. He flys to Peters house in Queens with his glider and throws a grenade. Peter’s Spider sense wakes him up and covers Mj. Norman smiles and takes off his helmet and says “You know, when i found out you were Spider-Man I- I didnt believe it. But i realized it all made sense. You tried to kill Harry because you wanted Mj didnt you. You knew he was better than you. Always was!” *Long pause* “You took who i loved the most, now ill take yours…” He snatches Mj and flys away. “NO!” Peter screams. He attaches his web to his glider and swings to the top and punches Norman, he drops Mj and peter pulls her with his web and drop on the ground. “Run, Mj, Run!” Peter screams. Mj is shown running away to the street, Norman flys by and takes Spider-Man and have a fight scene on the glider. After awhile Peter starts beating up Norman, until Norman pulls out a grenade and explodes them both. Peter falls into a lake unconscious with Norman not in sight. Soon Mj finds him and calls the police.
Peter ends up in hospital. When he wakes up he sees Norman walk passed his room and smirk and wave goodbye. Peter’s face switches to a face of revenge, he turns to his left seeing Mj reading a Newspaper. Mj notices and says “Oh my god you’re ok.” Peter looks at his torso and takes off his hospital attire. he sees his injures on his shoulders, stomach and thighs. Miles and Rio come inside the room and say “Are you ok Pete!?” Peter says “Im fine.” *pause* “Norman, hes coming for me.” Peter adds. Rio responds “Norman- Osborn?” “Yes…” Peter replies. “He wants to take revenge for Harry.” Peter says. and the cutscene ends.

Green Goblin is the character I’m most excited to see insomniac’s adaptation of. They’ve killed it with the villains so far, and Green Goblin is essentially Spider-Man’s Joker so I can’t wait. That being said,I mostly want to see what the costume looks like, cause while the character is great, the costume is so cartoonishly out there. So I’m excited to see how they do it
You can see the mask, pumpkin bombs and I think glider prototypes in the Osborn Penthouse during Spider-Man 1.
The mask is all kitted out with X-ray vision and everything so it’s gonna be cool seeing a new take on Gobby.
They’re really putting Harry through the ringer in this trilogy. First he’s Venom and now he’s gonna be Green Goblin.

While we are gonna see the Green Goblin in the potential third game, the question is who will wear the mask or helmet? It is obvious that Norman will be the one donning the Goblin persona, but there are some theories that the G-Serum is another cure for Harry. So Norman used it on him and it's Harry who wears the mask. It would be more hearthbreaking to fight Harry again if he is the Goblin in the third game.
It would just be the same story all over again. They're not gonna do Harry as the villain again.
Man, HELL NO... Norman will be the first Goblin.
There are only two ways to go when Harry takes in this serum within his veins.
1. He survives
2. Or dies from immediate contact.

I've always wanted to see a movie quality adaptation of the classic green goblin, and I really hope Spider-Man 3 will give us that
I’d like to see the red goblin too.
So it’s pretty much confirmed that there’s gonna be a 3rd game if these cutscenes are any indication. And it seems that Green Goblin is gonna be the main villain, which what better way to close off the trilogy than a game centered around Spidey’s most iconic villain? So we have Norman as Green Goblin, it seems like Doc Ock’s gonna get out because he was talking about writing the final chapter, and we meet Cletus Kassidy in a side quest. We’re also introduced to Cindy Moon in a cutscene, who is Silk. So my guess is, in the third game we’ll have Green Goblin as the main villain, with Doc Ock and Carnage being side plot villains. We only played as Peter in the first game, now we can play as Peter and Miles in the second game, my guess is for the third game they’re going all out and adding a third playable character, Silk, to keep up with the pattern.
I think Carnage will be the main villain in a possible DLC.

Carnage is definitely going to be DLC For this Game even tho my prediction used to be that Carnage and Green Goblin would be the main villains of the third game. Because since Wraith/Yuri is tied into this, then her story with Spider-Man is going to carry over in the DLC just like the first game did with both of them. Yuri had something to do with the main villain of the first Game's DLC who was Hammerhead. She also has something to do with Cletus Kasady/Carnage whos going to most likely be the main villain for this game's DLC. It all makes sense.

They might not wanna carry over the Symbiote storyline in the next game when they can end it all perfectly with the most terrifying symbiote Carnage in the second Game's DLC.

The Green Goblin will be the main villain in Marvel’s Spider-Man 3. Including Carnage.
This video game trilogy is doing the same thing that the Sam Raimi trilogy did: having all three of Spider-Man's archenemies as the main antagonists in each installment. The first Sam Raimi film had the Green Goblin, the second had Doc Ock, and the third had Venom. The first game in this series had Doc Ock, this one had Venom, and now we're gonna get the Goblin in the third one. I love how they used Doc Ock for the first game since he was Spider-Man's first archenemy in the comics. I mean, Chameleon was the first supervillain for Spider-Man in the comics, but Doc Ock was the first archenemy. But of course, the Green Goblin proved himself to be the biggest of the top three because of Gwen Stacy's death. And we can tell that the Goblin is going to do everything he can to attack Spider-Man's heart in the next game, similar to his plan in the first Raimi film. Saving the Goblin for the third game is the right move because it is certainly gonna give vibes to NWH in which Spider-Man biggest enemy is about to come and push him to the breaking point. But the question is will Norman be arrested for his crimes or will he end up impaled by his glider? And will we see the Hobgoblin too? And does this mean Peter will die in the next one so Miles can ultimately take over as Spider-Man.

Is Green Goblin gonna be a big scaley beasty or is he gonna be super strong man in a rubber mask?
In the first game we see a metal mask in his penthouse which could be painted but then that doesn’t make him like the classic goblin, just a high tech assassin or something
That’s not likely what he’s gonna wear. It just looks like that to act as a Easter egg foreshadowing what we will eventually see. If we saw the final product it would take away the shock and awe when we finally see it in Spider-man 3

With most of the sinister six gone because of kraven, and Doc's hatred of norman i doubt they are gonna be working together in the third game. Maybe one will be the main villain of act one with the other being the star of the final act. Maybe they will explore a insominiac version of superior spiderman and have green goblin terrorizing peter's life to make sure peter regains control or something.
This scene is opposite from Spiderman 2002 film, and Harry said , " What have you done" when his dad died and want revenge on spiderman and now this one Norman want revenge and about to become Green Goblin, can't wait for Spiderman 3.
So is Peter gonna come out of retirement at the beginning of the next game or partway through?

Like the Pharoah Ramses of Ancient Egypt in the Ten Commandments, Norman Osborn is forced to watch both his empire and his son slowly suffer and die unless he swallows his pride.
I think the next Spiderman game should be about Miles discovering the spiderverse that way he can team up with different spidermen from different timelines fighting all the different variants of villains.

He's probably going to try to use the G-Serum on Harry but tests will prove it is ineffective. Norman will start testing it on himself out of desperation and inadvertently become Green Goblin

I was looking forward to seeing Spider-Woman (Jessica Drew) in action as teenage girl in high school and Carnage will join forces with Venom. And Chameleon will plot revenge on Spider-Man and Green Goblin and Doctor Octopus as final villains in the upcoming battle of New York in Marvel’s Spider-Man 3 video game. And hopefully the Avengers will make a cameo guest appearance too!
Something tells me that we could get a version of the superior spiderman in the next game, since otto is making a return
Im also possibly thinking Pete will continue in his conscience like a ghost, with Miles trying to figure out what is happening.
Then we get a battle of Pete/Octavius vs fused Carnage Goblin, that would be interesting if done right
@@Thaltas Hmm. An interesting idea. I think it would work best if the third game follows a similar pattern to the previous two games. Namely in how both games start off with an initial Big Bad (Mr. Negative and Kraven) before transitioning to a different, more menacing Big Bad (Doc Ock and Venom). Maybe the third game would have Cletus Kasady/Carnage as the initial Big Bad before transitioning to Osborn as Green Goblin with the Carnage Symbiote.
Additionally, I think having Cletus as the initial Big Bad would help make a potential Superior Spider-Man plot line and Otto’s possible redemption seem more natural. Mostly since Cletus has always been considered the most depraved and remorseless of Spider-Man’s Rogues Gallery, and his viciousness and cruelty may be enough to disgust even this version of Doc Ock and make him reflect and see reason.
Either Harry might transform into the green goblin or the hobgoblin, and as for Norman, either his original, or just the red goblin .

Adding symbiote god knull would just be too overkill and wouldn’t make sense. They struggle against venom and imagine them facing against a symbiote god that kills celestial lol.

Is it me, or is Norman looking kinda fit in his suit while talking to Otto? We got Goblin, Doc, Carnage, and Chameleon on the distant horizon!
I bet Carnage and Norman will fuse to form the Red Goblin in the finale (after we defeat Cletus, likely in the middle-end portion of the game).
I can only assume Otto is planning on switching bodies with Peter as revenge for Peter (in Otto’s eyes) “betraying” him, and taking his mechanical arms away. Perhaps Otto will attempt using Peter’s body to kill his lifelong enemy: Norman… and for whatever reason towards the end, he’ll willingly give Peter his body back and emerge redeemed, to rekindle Peter and his relationship as friends… harkening back to the beginning.
Either Otto, Peter, or both will die in the end, and that will likely be the grand finale and emotional gut punch.
…As a side note, I noticed Insomniac’s been trying to push Miles as the only spider-man for a while now… it started with a throw away line in his first spin-off game (“New York’s ONLY Spider-Man”), in this game Peter softly retired for an indefinite period so Miles *could* be the only Spider-Man… and finally in the third game, Peter will likely die so Miles *will* be the only Spider-Man… and I’m not cool with that if I’m being honest…
Probaly carnage will be the villain of coming DLC and maybe Venom's game either

Ngl though id love a miles morsles type game but with peter when he just started and was a squeaky kid🤣if they do another spin off game with miles im sure norman will make his debut as goblin, or even better in dlc for spiderman 2
