Going back to the time of Covid lockdowns and our unique experience with the lovely hosts of SAHC and the beautiful music they were able to help us learn and perform … Thank you! Your love to humanity and music as well as your desire to unite strangers from around the globe with the same passion is highly appreciated and will never be forgotten!
This was my first Project with @Stay at Home Choir and it has been a tremendous experience ever since. The opportunities we are having with them are ones I would never have otherwise had. So looking forward to seeing this completed project.
So grateful to @Stay at home Choir and Sir Karl for the chance to join in with this wonderful project. Enjoyed the singing, but also thinking about 'Scenes of Sanctuary' in these challenging times, cultivating a sense of gratitude and shared community. Hence a clip of wind rippling through barley on the Wessex Downs (UK) during our 'lockdown walks' (around 2 mins 30)...
Such a privilege to take part in this project with the stay at home choir and Sir Karl. Amidst the restrictions of a national lockdown we came together as an online virtual choir and community through song.
So glad to have been part of this lockdown project. A complete lifesaver for SO MANY. Thank you Tori, Jamie, Sir Karl Jenkins and everyone else who made this possible.
It's just amazing to see all our photos and videos together with the music!!!! tears rolling down of the beauty you've created THANK YOU VERY MUCH, thanks for adding the photo of the LIGHTS FOR FREEDOM at the top of the "fingers" of my beloved mountain MONTSERRAT, this means a lot for my country CATALONIA
This is my first stay at home project! This was my mother's favorite song and I am fortunate to be a part. I wish they would have included videos or pictures of the singers, though 😕
Keep coming back to watch this. Best thing I took part in in 2020! A real tonic knowing you’re singing with folk all over the world. Connected with the world while isolated. What a magnificent concept! Thanks everyone. xx
This project has been a true privilege and honour to take part in. It’s one of my earlier Stay at Home choir projects and I feel the choir has excelled in every way. The video is magical and I personally prefer to see this montage for a change from the little squares especially with such a huge choir. The wall of sound is just beyond description x
Lina, i would like to be in the choir but I didn't know about it, and I see that now there's only a song to record so It would be a lot for me paying for it. Do you think the choir will be still recording next year?
@@pi2sa Yes I hope so. The SAHC is a beautiful virtual community and they offer us the best opportunities to sing great pieces. I’m sure it’s here to stay.
My very first virtual choir experience is this! And I have been a Stay-At-Homie ever since, singing happily as a Soprano. Thank you always, SAHC, and my deep gratitude goes to Sir Karl Jenkins, for this beautiful music.⚡️✨🌈
Every time I listen to this song, tears swell up in my eyes, and every time I listen to it, it makes me think of even the most briefest moment of life upon our world, and each moment that we have, sometimes could be our last if we don't take the time to enjoy what we have on this Earth and appreciate the things that we need to appreciate now
Superexcited! My 2nd project with Stay At Home Choir.. Thanks Sir KarlJenkins, Tori, Jamie, all At SAHC for the opportunity to be part of this amazing project..
This was such a worthwhile project to take part in! I love the final video; it's my children's favourite of my virtual choir performances and my 3-year-old calls it the "grass choir". 😁
Fabulous - clips, images and music working together beautifully. WELL DONE Tori, Jamie and all at StayAt Home Choir - proud to have been a small part of the singing...and chuffed to see my sanctuary image up on the screen!! x
I can't wait to see our Scenes of Sanctuary brought to life through Karl Jenkin's beautiful song & our community of voices! Thank you for another uplifting project SAHC. Will be sharing with family and friends! Be safe & well. -Stacie (soprano) :-)
Wow this is spectacular. The Beautiful majestic sound along with the members’ submissions of their scenes of sanctuary. Wow! So honored to be a part of this production. Thank you to all involved. Thank you to Tori and Jamie. Thank you Sir Karl Jenkins. 💕🎶
I'm so happy to have been part of this, and also The Armed Man. I can't sing in real life with my choir at the moment but I can sing with people from all over the world thanks to the SAHC!
I sang this with my real-life choir in the last concert we did before lockdown started. I didn't get to sign up for the SAHC project unfortunately, but it was beautifully sung. Well done everyone who took part.
It's absolutely beautiful, I needed this so much right now. Thank you so much for enabling me to be a tiny part of this. And thank you to everyone whose videos were used for showing us all a little of your world, even though we can't be there to share it with you in person.
Awesome! I joined in time for Ode to Joy and am continually amazed at how personal the experience feels considering the global reach of these world class productions. Thankyou Tori and Jamie 👏🏻👏🏻
What a marvelous rendition!! The music provided a wonderful backdrop to the beautiful scenery!! Great concept, great execution. Thank you for the Peace (and the piece)!!
I've listened to this now several times. It really makes me cry - especially Sir Karl with his flute. What an experience and what a piece of music. Must be heaven sent!! Like "The armed Man"! I love to be a SAHCian!! Thank you so much for all these moments of incredible emotions during the last few months since I started with Adiemus. Being part of all this makes me a super lucky guy. Take care everybody with your wonderful voices and energy all over the world. Love to Tori and Jamie. Wolfram Glatzel, Bass from Germany
Oh - how wonderful is this!! I loved it so much to sing together with all this persons from around the world. Thank you sooo much for this beautiful inspiration!!! Stay safe!
Sadly I joined SAHC after Adiamus had been completed and I love this composition so much. Great videos and sound ...... but it didn’t sound like ‘thousands’ of people singing !
So interesting enough, this is not actually words, these are sounds Sir Karl wrote to best translate the music. He has talked about it in some interviews and it's what makes his Songs or Sanctuary series unique.

Wait a second... i thought there were a lot more "Z" names in the credits previously... I don't see mine even though I checked it the other time... :|
May I have the lyrics of this song?
