The most important thing the GNU must do is reduce unemployment, deal with crime, decrease inequality and deal with the migration crisis. Those are the biggest issues the country faces.

People tend to forget that Dr Frans Cronje has also previously mentioned that according to their analytics Ramaphosa leaving takes 10% away from the ANC. So whatever poll fluctuations we see now should be read within that context from 2027 (Ramaphosa's ANC exit ) through to 2029 (Ramaphosa's Presidential exit).

It was largely Afrikaans voters who supported the National Party. These Afrikaans voters are now mostly split between the DA and the FF+ These voters are not going to be voting ANC. Change that will alleviate the "land issue" ...and that will create sustainability and hope in these marginalized communities. I headed projects there on behalf of big foreign donors for 12 years...there are relatively easily achieved strategies that can make a massive difference.
