He would be a better villain if they kept those deleted scenes of him trying to convince his dad to sign the contract and talking to his assistant about bugs while doing taxidermy.
Stan is kind of a grey area villain. He takes a bit too much joy in killing bugs, but at the same time he is providing a service to people. Stan should have just been scared off instead of being shrunken deformed.
@@majormccoy2659 precisely, they should've at least tried to reason with Beals, for all we know he was probably like Lucas once but never got any help for it, in fact I theorize that perhaps he was victimized by insects as a child so now he harbors a kind of hatred for them. there are lots of insects that cause real harm if provoked, either by accident or intentional.
@@AbrasiousProductions True. The whole method they went with was a bit messed up. Plus a thing I read on tv tropes points out that the actions the ants took probably doomed the colony. @@majormccoy2659 that is true, he is living proof that something's amiss with that colony, I mean how else could he even conceivably look like that? he's gonna tell people and something bad will happen to the colony, I'm beginning to think the writers didn't think all this through

yeah, that was horrible, he didn't deserve that.
@@AbrasiousProductions It was pretty harsh. At least with Lucas he got a trial and was given a chance to earn his freedom.

Beals is far from being a Great Bad Guy but I do find him interesting
Not really a villain. Just an antagonist.
Funny at least
Of stan beals
Stan Beals more like Dwayne LaFontant from Over The Hedge
Exterminator vs. Verminator!
The Ultimate Showdown!
Fun fact: Paul Giamatti, who voiced Stan Beals, starred in the movie Sideways with Thomas Haden Church, who voiced Dwayne LaFontant in Over The Hedge.
