I really appreciate this, it’s very informative, I plan on firming Loughborough this year and it’s great to see some insight into what it’s like there since I won’t be able to visit it
I’m so glad this video exists because I got Telford accommodation unexpectedly because the site crashed I couldn’t get anything else and I was worried I was gonna hate it but this makes me feel so much better 💕😭😭
@@kenzie2421 found out I'm also going to Telford so finding this was super convenient. Esp the closets being big but shelf-less so I'll be sure to bring a foldable shelf thing to keep stuff in inside it
hey! I was just wondering if every room looks similar in Telford or if it differs between blocks and wether you are allocated a specific room in your flat beforehand? Thanks!! xx
Trust me that is very rare at uni, however I was very lucky that we all kinda cleaned after ourselves but it caused a few arguments so try not to take it seriously x
Hii, I secured a seat in Loughborough for the coming intake, i have to choose an accommodation and I’m confused between JP, Harry french and study inn(off campus) can you please help me out if you have any information?
I think all on Camus accommodation is great in its own way, Harry french is furthest from town and quite a independent accommodation (so they don’t really mix with others, as far as I know) but they are close to the “village” on campus. im not so sure on jp. And living of campus seems to be good too but usually people regret not having the on campus experience and it’s also usually better for returners that don’t want to mix with a lot of people
hi there, i'm thinking of coming to Loughborourgh next year, and wanted ask are people friendly and welcoming there? as i'm quite scared about making friends as I can be very shy and introverted at first, and I've heard in freshers week everyone goes out clubbing but I don't drink so how can I meet new people? would love your advice, much thanks in advance!
Hiya!!! That’s so exciting that your going to Loughborough, talking about the drinking culture of uni it is very healthy clubbing but I don’t think there is a pressure to drink, I have friends who are sober and they still have just as much fun. There are also a tone of societies and clubs that you can join to help you make friends so definitely attend the fresher fairs inorder to sign up to these clubs. Also you will meet people in your lectures and accommodation, people are very friendly and open to get to know new people because that’s what university is all about! Have fun with everything and try to go out of your comfort zone x
haha, there is no certainty, however, if you are worried you can put your name on your stuff. You will get your own cupboard so people shouldn't be taking your food x

Wait so is it 6-8 people or 15 you share a kitchen with? Is it 2 kitchens that you could go to?
Do the university give you a mattress along witht the room?
