- Here is a pretty old set that I have had for awhile in my collection. I thought with no instructions that I would not be able to make a video, but then realized that the set did not come with any "How To" instructions and it was left up to the person playing with it. I figured that as a kids product it was never intended to really make coffee, but the photos shows a brown liquid being poured into the cups. I wanted to have it as realistic as possible and why I chose to make instant coffee with creamer and sugar. That worked great and once I figured out that I needed to press the right side of the button to dispense it worked great. The chocolate milk was just to add a little more fun to the video and why I ended up testing it with that also. Generally speaking it worked great and it was fun showing you on video.

It can. The filter has big holes in it, so the powder would probably fall through. That is why I mixed it first.
