Heya, thanks for this informative video! I‘m gonna start fire hooping and had some struggle finding clothes that are 100% made out of cotton.i was told that, if there‘s 2 to 5 % elasthan or similar in there it‘s still fireproof though, do you think I can use those clothes when the rest in cotton? Happy hooping :)
That should work just fine! Make sure to take all other precautions for a safe first burn! Check out this video for more fire spinning tips! ruclips.net/video/uhbBqg6hlC0/видео.html
You should actually squeeze out the dipped wicks with plastic gloves above the dipping Station, lamp oil is quite toxic for the environment. If you just spin in, the oil will go all over the place and into the ground.

Thanks! I've been interested in firehoop and this helps me feel a little less intimidated about pursuing it.
Great to hear, you got this Erika! Be safe!
Nice! Thanks for these tips! I love the sound it makes ♥️ I wish there were hoopers in Norway.
I think I would need Kevlar gloves as well but I could definitely get it spinning.

@@sacredflowart great thank you :)
What size hoop are you using here?
It's a 34" with 3/4" tubing!
Polypropylene or hdpe?
Metal they say. Nothing cheap plastic

That's an excellent suggestion!
