I love this series !! Great for beginners to add to our repertoire so it doesn’t feel like I’m always “stuck” on trying to learn tricks.

I am a new viewer and I Love Deanne. 63 years old and counting! Loving my new hoops and moves. I have been wondering how much to practice every day and how many tricks at a time should I attempt. I am really good going one way. It’s taking me long to get good at going the other way. Any suggestions on what the right pace may be?

When I first started hooping I would practice for hours a day because I was having so much fun. I would try to do a trick until I felt I got it down good, if it took more than a week and I still wasn’t getting it I would move on and come back to it. Most of the time you’ll get it. Also helps to listen to different videos because some people explain it differently than others and it clicks :)

Thank you so much. You’re the best! Your videos always have such clear directions, and I am constantly surprising myself by being able to pick the tricks fairly quickly. Also, I need to get myself into a cool practice space like yours! Your space is beautiful, and I’m over here constantly hitting the ceiling in my apartment with my hoop! (Sorry upstairs neighbors lol)

Thank you this is so cool😍 could you do hooping tricks tutorials with a weighted hoop? I know weighted hoops are not really made for dancing and tricks, but we have to do a hooping choreography in school with weighted "edged" hoops..
