    Sir, I came across your lectures on SMART PLS and they are extremely helpful. As mentioned in the lecture that if Cronbach alpha for most of the items is less, deleting them will create an issue in content validity. What has to be done in that case. plz share the link for the supporting video link to the query.
    Thanks

    • @researchwithfawad
      @researchwithfawad  2 года назад +1

      If alpha is low and even deletion is not helping, see if your items are phrased properly, make sure if you have enough data, also make sure your have properly cleaned the data.

    Thank you, Sir, some literature mentioned that outer loading if it's 0.60 or 0.50, is still possible to keep the items, what do you think about that?

    • @researchwithfawad
      @researchwithfawad  2 года назад +1

      I only delete items with loading between 0.40 and 0.70, if they are improving CR and AVE beyond the recommended values.

  • @jasvirkaur6619

    Hello Sir, Thank you for explaining everything in details.
    IN my research case all the outer loadings are less than .70, What should I do?

    • @researchwithfawad
      @researchwithfawad  3 года назад

      Thanks. I am glad you liked it. If all are low, this is an issue. How low are they, what is the AVE and CR

    • @jasvirkaur6619
      @jasvirkaur6619 3 года назад

      @@researchwithfawad Out of 51 loadings, 9 are above .70; 3 loadings are .1, 2 are .0 something. The remaining are mostly between .5 and .6 with a few of them .3
      There are total 6 constructs in the model. four constructs bear the AVE .2 and two constructs bear AVE .3
      CR if above .7 for five constructs, for one construct it is .68
      Thank you for writing back :)

    Thank you very much sir, this is very helpful. I have a question about my model, all of my outer loadings are green (>0.7), but one of my construct, the Cronbach Alpha and Composite Reliability value respectively are 0.582 and 0.818. Should I remove one of the item from this construct? But I only have 2 items from this construct. Or is it okay with the value of Cronbach Alpha 0.7? Thank you sir

    • @researchwithfawad
      @researchwithfawad  3 года назад

      Since CR is good, no need to delete any items. Furthermore low Alpha value is because of no. of items.

    • @ahmadzakysaid9198
      @ahmadzakysaid9198 3 года назад

      @@researchwithfawad Thank you sir for the response. So, the low Cronbach alpha is because i only have 2 items? Is there any minimum items for one construct?

    What is valid report. Valid report is, internationally and everybody say its truth and valid. Is called valid report.
