Awesome, I was expecting the typical turkey, but this is even better as my two year old is into owls right now. I'm making two of these blankets, one for each of my daughters, with the apples of September representing their birthstones to know which belongs to who as they fight over everything. Lol

So once you put the horizontal lines on the top and the bottom of the square on the M then v point in the middle is the tiny owl nose, is this is what we're trying to protect is this why ash had to fall on the square to cover the owl v nose?

I’m making an owl pillow with this square! One side will have the brown owl the other will have a grey one with bright yellow eyes. 🦉I think I’ll also make a Jack-o-Lantern pillow too but have a normal pumpkin on the other side for fall. 😊

Hi! The Calendar Blanket Squares are all 11.5 inches using the hook and yarn I suggest . You can make them smaller if you use a thinner yarn and smaller hook :)

Hi Tony, I use many, they're all size 4, medium worsted weight. As long as they all feel and look the same thickness and they're all acrylic, they fit in just fine for this project. So far, this blanket has used Red Heart Super Saver, RH Comfort, Bernat Super Value, Bernat Permium, Loops and Threads, no name, and a few others that had no labels at all!

Good morning Jayda. I love watching your videos. I was curious what brand yard do you use. It looks to be a bulky worsted weight 4.
Hi Tony, I use many, they're all size 4, medium worsted weight. As long as they all feel and look the same thickness and they're all acrylic, they fit in just fine for this project. So far, this blanket has used Red Heart Super Saver, RH Comfort, Bernat Super Value, Bernat Permium, Loops and Threads, no name, and a few others that had no labels at all!
